wanting some opinions on the best compression hose or socks. I cant find any in my local uniform stores and I hate ordering online and having to return things. I currently only own one pair of knee high compression socks and I really like them but I dont remember what brand they are or where I got them I have had them for 2 years. Does anyone know what the difference is between the thigh and knee highs???

Knee high compression socks that I bought at a uniform store for like $7, I think they are "Nurse Mates" brand. They are available on allheart.com as well.
And they totally help my feet and legs. I don't ache as bad anymore since I've been wearing them!

I was wondering the same thing. I'm starting school next month, with clinicals my first day. I went to the local scrubs store today and there were about 30 options for compression socks. I was a tad overwelmed. I found one pair that looked like a good option, but cost $15/pair.
Any other brands that anyone swears by? If so, why?
Thx!

I wore Nursemates pantyhose for several years until I got C.Diff and can't wear anything that binds on my tummy now. Boy can I tell the difference! My legs hurt a lot more than they used to, but it is better than the tummy ache.
If you can not wear the full pantyhose try the knee hi support, they sell for 9,50 and they are great,
it will help a lot on your legs, also remember very important closed shoes that give you support on your feet
I bought Nurse Mates Suppsocks yesterday, so I hope those do the trick.
