TWU Spring 2009

Hello everyone just wanted to see if there were anymore hopeful spring 2009 applicants out there. I submitted my application already and just sitting back waiting till Nov when acceptance/rejection letters are sent out. I know they said for us to check out emails everyday in October. If anyone has been through the application process before please share your experience. Good luck to everyone :wink2:

I must express my envy that you've figured out how to "give it to God" and not worry so much. I'm a worrier! And, although my head knows that I'm not in control and that worrying is a huge waste of time, I can't always seem to stop the worrying. I'm a work in progress, I guess. So, I appreciate your kind words and your willingness to open up about your spirituality. :yeah:

AggieNruse2B,

We are so much alike. I'm so much of a worrier. I'm trying not to stress myself out over this application process. For a lot of reasons this was my only school I applied to and it's my dream school. if I got accepted into TWU I would be the most happiest person alive. I know I have to let go and let GOD. My application is in so whatever happens is out of my hands now. It would be nice of all 3 of us got into TWU :)

At this point, I've got no backup plan if I DON'T get into TWU. So that tends to make me worry A LOT! Maybe it would help if I formulated somewhat of a plan...

Hey Everyone!

Im applying to the Spring 09 program at TWU as well. I just emailed Ms. Jennings at TWU to see when we should hear back from them. I'll let you guys know!

I hate this waiting too... blah!

UPDATE!!!

This is what Ms. Jennings wrote:

The applications are processed in Denton nursing office.

We are supposed to hear before the first week of November so we can prepare packets to send to students with acceptance letters.

We would like the acceptance letters to be mailed out in early November but it is up to Denton to get all the processing done before that.

Acceptance is based on highest GPA and NET score.

Nov is soo long from now!!! Does anyone know about how many students they take a semester?? I thought it was 50 but couldn't remember. Did everyone check blackboard to make sure their info was correct??

November seems very far away, but it will come before we know it!

That would be great if we all got into the program for sure. I am going to pray for us all, but as I pray remember I will pray to God for guidance and that our desires are his as well and where he closes one door another will open. I know that we all have times in our lives where we feel he isn't there or maybe he doesn't answer in our time, but remember "He is an On-time GOD. He may not come when we want him, but he'll be there right on time :)

For some odd reason they believe community college courses like that aren't good enough. I think that's crazy if a nurse from a asn program and a bsn program can do the same thing except upper management in most cases. Has anyone noticed they pulled our grades if you look at your transcript??? The waiting is killing me!!!

No, it doesn't have to be for TWU, but it's an upperlevel bio course.. 4000 something. SJ doesn't go over 2000 level classes since it's a community college.
