TWU Spring 2009

Hello everyone just wanted to see if there were anymore hopeful spring 2009 applicants out there. I submitted my application already and just sitting back waiting till Nov when acceptance/rejection letters are sent out. I know they said for us to check out emails everyday in October. If anyone has been through the application process before please share your experience. Good luck to everyone :wink2:

From the info that I've heard over the years usually a 3.7-3.8 has been the cut off so you have a good chance of getting in!!!! Does anyone else know anything different

I feel your pain. I'm re-taking Chemistry this semester to replace my C with an A (God willing). And I'm also taking my final prereq--Microbiology. Yes, prayers are appreciated.

AggieNurse2B,

I'm retaking micro this semester to replace my C. I have a A in the class so far so hopefully I'll be able to keep it. I doubt I get in for the spring but the fast track might let me in. My micro grade should be replaced and even if I make a B it will go up some. I know people have stated the fast track goes by the gpa of the applicant pool for that year so it will depend on how high everyone else gpa is.

Has everyone who is taking the NET next month bought the offical study?? It really will help you!!!

No, but I'm thinking maybe I should...

Might just do that today.

Please do it's exactly like the study guide!!!

Princess Wannabe -

You interested in selling your study guide?

So far, I'm making an A in micro. I don't think I'll have a problem holding onto that A, but I'm making a B in Chem. It's tough because we have six tests and they're all only 10 questions each. Not much room for error.

Sure you can have mine. I haven't written in it at all. I can give it to you for $20. I should keep my A in micro too. Pharm and path I have no idea but I'm taking them at BrookHaven so it won't count on any other schools but theirs.

I'll take it. I can Paypal you the money today if you can send it to me sometime this week. I take my test on October 18, so there's not much time!

The study guide for the NET I found it in the library(north lake college).

The book is really small so I just made the copies of the book.

There is also Netprep class @ El Centro college ( I believe once a month).

Hi everyone

So it sounds as though Aggie Nurse and Princess Wanna Be know exactly how I felt this summer...I felt the pressure constantly, but I am relying on the Lord and no one else. I took the NET a year ago and sold my book because if I had it I would be willing to give it to any of you:specs:

I am taking Patho for TWU and Pharmacology and Algebra for UTA. I am going to the school that offers me a slot. I would prefer TWU, but I will go to the place that wants me for sure. Both schools are great schools and no matter where you go just remember they all have their ups and downs.

I am also tutoring a friend that is taking Patho. at UTA. She received her first test back last Thursday and made 100% on her first exam. She was so excited, but more so I was excited because I got to share in her joy knowing GOD blessed me to be able to help teach her what a day that was. I tutored for 5 hours one day and 4 the next day...I was exhausted. The uniqueness of it all was that I never made a 100% on a test, but the joy she experienced and the joy I experienced for her was far better than making the grade myself.

I normally stress so much and Spring 08 when I made the waiting list for UTA was so exhausting just worrying if I would get in or not. I have found a peaceful place now because I just do not worry. GOD has the plan layed out for me so no matter what I cannot change it. Not for sure how spiritual either one of you are, but if you are or not I appreciate you letting me express how wonderful GOD is to me. It is so different for me this semester and I how two applications in to two different schools. I want to know just like everyone else, but I am not consumed over everything like I was before.

I want to keep in touch with both of you for sure. Maybe we can meet face to face one day.

Take care and good luck on the NET...YOU WILL DO GREAT! Keep your heads up on the classes you are retaking remain positive and do not lose focus of what is real.
