My condolences to you also for your loss. I know that with your loss, your own health health problem, and not being accepted to the school, this must be a very, very difficult time for you. Take one day at a time, and try and lean on the things and people that you are close to. I wish you all the best. John
I'm so sorry Paul. That is so sad. I don't even know what to say.
Just know that I can relate to your pain about your local CC. I too have a 4.0 GPA and didn't even make it into my first choice CC this year! They went by lottery and had 472 qualified applicants apply for 64 spots. Needless to say I was quite depressed last week. However today I got a letter from a CC 200 miles away saying I am officially on their waiting list at #157. It will be about 2 years before I get in, but at least it's a back-up plan for somewhere! Does your waiting list stay the same, or do you get kicked out if you don't make it in that year and have to reapply?
Blessings,
Vicky

I hope that bad things happen in threes because quite frankly I cant take any more.
On May 4 my wife of 24 years died of a pulmonary emboli. It happened so suddenly I didnt even have a chance to say goodbye to her. She herself was in the medical field for over 30 years and helped thousands and thousands of people. She was unquestionably the finest person I have met on this earth and I miss her so much.
Last week I was rushed to the emergency room with an intestinal blockage due to an abdominal hernia. I will be having repair surgery next week.
Yesterday I got a letter from my CC that said that I was put on a wait list despite the fact that I have a gpa of 4.0
Thanks for listening to my problems.
Paul
