Stethoscope of choice

Wondering if anyone has a "preference" in stethoscopes.

Also, any experience with a Mabis signature cardiology scope?

A Littmann which some kind nurse stole. Now I just use the cheap ones that the hospital provides.

Littmann Cardiology III for me

Littmann Cardiology III for me

Same here! I wouldn't buy anything else!

I've gotta be a rebel and go with an Ultrascope. It has been compared to Littman Cardiology, but it's a lot cheaper.

My Littman was stolen. I now have a DRG. I like it just as much as the Littman. I think my Littman was a IISE or something like that. Anyway, this DRG is just as good.

I have a Littmann Classic II S.E. It works well. Which ever kind you get, make sure you put a name tag on it, or else it'll be snatched up (I know this from personal experience!)

I've used my Sprague for about 17 years. It's the only one that I can hear with. But I have to say, I haven't tried the Littman.

Littmann cardio III is the best stethoscope I have ever owned!

I have a Philips Rappaport-Sprague and I love it!

i go for littmann cardio III. i recommend this kind for new nurses if capable to get one. it is very sensitive to sounds and when a beginner it is nice to start right.

I started with a Littman lightweight and couldn't hear didily. I since have moved on to a Cardiology III. I love it. I work in a peds hospital and it works great on everyone from 1 day to 18 years old. The bell doubles as a peds steth so I can differentiate sounds wonderfully.
