Stethoscope of choice

Wondering if anyone has a "preference" in stethoscopes.

Also, any experience with a Mabis signature cardiology scope?

I have a Littman Master Classic II. I'm still a student, so it's more than enough for what I'm doing. I love the soft-sealing earpieces.

Hope we get some more input here. I would like to know too. When I was in school I bought the cheapest one I could find for $11. I actually prefer it to the soft squishy earpiece ones.

I have a Littmann Cardiology S.T.C (Soft-Touch Chestpiece) Stethoscope!

Ditto.

On all counts - brand, price, use, reliability... and yeah, those ear-plugs :)

I love the Master Classic II. For the price I haven't tried another scope that can rival it.

I use a Littmann Master Cardiology. I love it. Can hear everything I need to with it; from babies to elderly.

Littmann, the earpieces don't dig (which is important if it takes your pt. 4 minutes to come up with bowel sounds), and sound quality is great.

Littmann Master Classic II...hands down. My first one lasted 8 years!
