Spring Classes

Does anyone know if they have posted what general education classes are offered for Spring 2013? I know where to find the nursing classes through 2014, but I haven't been able to find a posting for Spring 2013. Maybe they haven't. If they haven't does anyone know when to expect this to be released? I just like to plan and since I only have Excellence and 3 gen eds to complete I'd to have an idea on what is ahead. Thanks!

What do you mean you cant take it concurrent? I thought you were able to? It says somewhere prior to or concurrent. I know I read that.

I really dont want to do stats with family, I hope they can be taken together.

Yeah, when I called to ask, I was told Stats had to be done before you can take EBP. I went to get the prereqs. for EBP off the website, "Requisite:NRSE 4510 or concurrent and (MATH 2500 or PSY 1110 or 2110 or QBA 2010)". So I guess 4510 can be taken concurrent, but not stats. I must have read that wrong the first time around, I didn't see the "and". Hope you can get things worked out.

Ok I had to call. I was coded wrong or something but was able to register after they changed it. I got into stats but you can't take it concurrent with 4550, so I'll just have to take that in the summer. 4600 is still having problems, so I was told to email with course #, class name, and my pid and they would manually add me. Soooooooo I might just wait for Excellence in the summer with EBP and just do my jr. comp (semester long) instead.

I'm doing the jr comp this semester too. I have research scheduled for feb but can't get thru for excellence in march....ugh...

Lovely, I get to take stats with Family now instead. That's going to be fun.. NOT. Stats is full anyways, nursing office said they would register me and they didn't do it yet. On the plus side, it's after winter break. So I can get my book early and work on things while on break. Make sure I start to understand it.

Crap, now I don't know what to do. The other stats course is the full 15 weeks, I thought it was 5 weeks. I have no clue how to do this. I'm going to have to find stats somewhere else or something, if they can't be taken concurrently. Besides the fact the class is full. They told me before when I called they could be done concurrently.

You probably had priority registration? If so, they should allow you to take stats even if it is full. Not your fault that the registration was so messed up.

I was supposed to be able to register on the 31st. But it still screws me, because they told me before I could take it concurrently with Evidence, but now apparently you can't. If I don't graduate by May, then I can't start NP school, and it pushes me back an entire year, as the program is only offered once a year. Thanks to NY's stupid rules, there is no other program I can take.

FYI the old syllabus for Evidence said concurrently, its the same class just a different name. http://www.outreach.ohio.edu/bsn/NRSESyllabi/NRSE405.pdf

I'll see what they say when they get back to me. I was told before they could be taken concurrently, which is what I planned my schedule around, so we'll see!

Has anyone heard anything about growth and development? It was offered this fall and I think this summer also. I haven't seen anything about it for Spring (of course!). I emailed my advisor on Thursday and haven't heard anything from her regarding this, as well as other question- if they were ever going to offer a 5 week business communication class. So annoyed. I might be looking somewhere else for general education classes.

There is a nursing focused english class that is 5-weeks. My business comp class was 10 weeks - but I took it while under the old quarters system.

What is it called? I haven't seen that one.

The nursing junior comp class is still not available at this time. OU does not have any idea when it will be available. Unless you are referring to another class I am not aware of.
