Spring 2009 Classes

Maybe it's a bit early, but I am curious as to what classes everyone is planning on taking next semester.

For me:

Anatomy and Physiology II

Microbiology :)

nutrition and food science

probably some kind of health/medical care delivery systems class.

and find some time to retake microbiology but not required for admission only graduation. yay.

I agree. And not even just for advanced practice - getting a C (or even a B) or having to repeat a class due to a low grade may exclude you from competitive RN programs.

Better to take it slow unless you know for sure you're capable of handling more. You can always take a heavier classload in future semesters.

Besides, having general bio completed will help in A&P.

Thank you Jess... for making me want to kick myself in the @55 because I'm retaking a class... :o

I'm kidding.

But really I'm not..

But really. lol.

Microbiology

Patho-physiology

Chemistry II

Psychological Stats

It's a heavy course load but it has to be done!:banghead:

By Spring 09 I'd be done with prereq's and would be anxiously awaiting admission status from three state universities. But I'd be taking upper-division GE's and get that out of the way so I can only focus on core nursing courses by Fall 09... if I get in, that is!

Xeno and Jess- It can be done, you just have to be disciplined. I'm taking a full load right now, I work 45 hrs/week at one job, 5 hrs/ week at another. I am currently taking Nursing Assistant Skills, A&P 1, Med Terminology, and intro. to computer. So far I have A's in everything. It helps that I only have one very difficult class right now (A&P)

CPT 101 (Why is this needed for an ADN?)

College Algebra

I tried to fit Nursing Concepts into my schedule but it wasnt working so I chose College Algebra and I need that for a BSN anyways so I might as well get it over with.
