Spring BREAK

Published

T-minus 30 minus and we are on break. When we come back the kids only have 50 days left before Summer.  I will have 62 days left and cannot wait for some down time this Summer!

We just got back from Feb (although most of it was in March for some reason) and I am already counting the days to April break...we still do 2.

33 days!

We got back from our February break on the 28th; April break comes in 6 weeks from now - there's a couple of short weeks for the kids mixed in there, but this is a challenging chunk of time! Glad COVID #s are down for us, for sure.

This is the time of year when the nurses in the more southern states start to get excited and start counting down the days.... while us northerners still have a long haul to go.  Happy for you all... (or should I say y'all LOL).

We're off Friday and then all next week.   The teachers have an in-service Friday, but I don't have to work it (it makes up for me staying late on Thursday and coming in early on Monday) to deal with the catheters.

Yeah, we are still taking in snow days here in Missouri LOL!  We had yesterday off and another large storm appears to be brewing for tomorrow night.  I'll take off days where I can get them, but would prefer for Spring to appear sooner than later!

5 more weeks here. Usually we get 2 weeks for Spring break, but a majority of the teachers (certificated staff) in the district voted for a 1 week break so we could push the first day of school back a week. Now I hear them complaining we only get a week break. I am on a classified contract and classified staff were not given a vote. Hopefully they will remember this next time someone gives them a choice.
