Thank you, I set my goals also, no more laziness here, I have to get it done. My dream is one day to become a mental health nurse practitioner. I even started working nights as a homecare nurse so that way I can study all the time, we have a lot of downtime when we work night shift in homecare. Thank you for the good wishes, I'll also pray for you.

Specializes in Neuro.

Hi shikster,

That is definitely the way to start the New Year, with positive thoughts and a plan for success. Praying for you and CarolinaSantana to accomplish your goals. I'm going to be a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for the VA as well, just have to get my ASN and BSN no biggie lol. Just claim it.

I agree with the positive thoughts/thinking. I will be testing for the CPNE in the up coming months (no date yet), but we ALL have to stay positive for EVERYONE no matter what stage of the game you are at in the program.

Success for all in this new year!!! ;)
