Jul 5, 201015 yr Author Oh o.k. Sorry new at this. So when do you actually learn the procedures of things? During clinicals? I guess I'm just confused because I always here people say things like "well this semester during my med/surg clinicals" or "this semester in peds I'm doing". I guess I just thought the classes would be called Pediatrics in nursing etc. Is this a dumb question. I think it is, isn't it.

So, During a class called, for example, Care of Children Nur 123, that is your peds rotation. Lecture will about peds, so will lab and then you will go to clinical at a Children's Hospital or pediatric ward of a hospital where you will do some of the things you learned in lab. Does that help?
Jul 6, 201015 yr We don't have the Organic Chem. We have some that you don't: algebra, communications elective, humanities elective, and phys ed elective. The rest are the same classes; some classes have different different names.
