Oh o.k. :lol2: Sorry new at this.

So when do you actually learn the procedures of things? During clinicals? I guess I'm just confused because I always here people say things like "well this semester during my med/surg clinicals" or "this semester in peds I'm doing". I guess I just thought the classes would be called Pediatrics in nursing etc. Is this a dumb question. I think it is, isn't it.

Usually one quarter will be focused on each area of nursing. So, During a class called, for example, Care of Children Nur 123, that is your peds rotation. Lecture will about peds, so will lab and then you will go to clinical at a Children's Hospital or pediatric ward of a hospital where you will do some of the things you learned in lab. Does that help?

We don't have the Organic Chem. We have some that you don't: algebra, communications elective, humanities elective, and phys ed elective.

The rest are the same classes; some classes have different different names.
