School Bag

this is the bag I bought for Nursing School. I was going to spend $150 and get a ZUCA rolling bag, but decided I wanted a nicer stethoscope, so I bought this for $25! I has a hide away for handle, laptop holder inside, and front and side pockets. Anyone use anything like this? It's really big! I hope it works great! What do you love/recommend as far as bags for nursing school goes?

I use a Timbuk2 laptop messenger bag - which I love and is a great size. I'm not sure why you would need such a huge bag. Do you need to bring a large number of books to class every day?

Most folks in my cohort use backpacks or messenger bags.

I just bought this at IKEA FOR 59.99 (10 dollars off). I love it ! :D

This is really cute!

MrsPriss: That is such a CUTE bag.

I decided to go with a SAMSONITE rolling bag. I am sure it will have to take a lot of abuse....and use.

Here is mine. It is huge! LOL I had a $95 gift certificate to Amazon, so was able to get it for about 40 bucks. I love it.

With a long commute and long days, you may be glad you got such a big bag! I've had terms where I really needed a huge bag and others where I could get by with my backpack.

My only suggestion is to be cognizant of the size of your bag, particularly with regards to how much it may block walkways/aisles in classrooms. No one likes having someone else's conveniently huge bag become an tripping hazard/inconvenience to them. During the terms that I've needed my huge bag, I had some classrooms where there simply wasn't room for me to put it in a seat next to me to keep the aisles free. In those cases, I chose seats near the front (or back) so I could place my bag along the front (or back) wall where it would still be within my line of sight then I would just take what I needed for that class to my seat.

I've got a huge LL Bean bookbag and I love it!

LL Bean backpack that I use mostly for clinical - our professors don't ask us to drag our books to class so I mostly just take a binder...

Miss Priss- I love that bag!! Where can I find one?

i just use whatever holds all my books and supplies.

nothing fancy.

That bag is so cute Miss Priss I love it!!! I use a JanSport tote/messenger style bag. So far it works well for me but I don't have to bring all my books to class, just my small clinical calc. book.
