Hey everyone, like most of you I'll be starting my pre-req's in the fall at a BSN program in NYC. Trying to do all of this while working full-time in an un-related field. Great site! Hello fellow future colleagues, my name is Michelle and I currently have a BS in Microbiology (from Iowa State University - go Cyclones). I have been accepted at the School of Nursing at the University of Maryland in Baltimore for the Fall of 04 (I start in August and I am both excited and nervous). Anyway, I am finishing up A&P II at AACC, three more weeks to go then a nice little break - yeah!!! At the moment, I plan on continuing onto graduate school for my MS and possibly PhD, however, this is all subject to change as I originally wanted to be a Microbiologist... Good luck to us all.

I am 25, married and a mom of an almost 2 year old girl :). Originally from Yugoslavia, have been here (GA) 2 years. I go to school full time. I am taking my pre-requisits and hoping to get accepted into nursiing school (ADN) in the fall of 2005.

Hello everyone, I am 25 married with no kids. I am in western NY currently taking prereqs to try and get into my local cc nursing prgram. (99 spots for 350 applicants) I will hopefully get in this coming spring since I now have more "quality points" than a lot of people that got in this fall. In the meatime I will just keep on taking prereqs. This fall I will take Physiology (my school completely splits up A&P into two seperate classes), Calculus, Issues in child development and health, and a one credit intro to nursing class. I am getting very stir crazy since I will not get to find out if I am accepted into the spring program until thanksgiving . So in the meantime I have been passing time reading these boards.

Congratulations!!! I only had Psy 101 when I applied for this fall so I knew I would not get in. When I apply for the spring I will also have Eng 101 Bio 143 and Psy 212 now so hopefully I can get in for the spring semester. (56 quality points) If you don't mind my asking do you know about how many qualty points most of the people you know had to have to get into this fall semester?
