Why is it that you can't see your actually results for this test.. Are the so called graph? That seem fishy..and how come you can do a whole test.. And pass or fail.. By the determination if it above the line or under the line..Now ,that's really showing my nursing knowledge$$$$$$. I'm just a concern test taker.. A lot of money is being made .and I don't think it's about safety or competent nurse.. Because we still continue to have many nurses that can pass this but still making neg decision.. Are don't even know what they are doing..

Hello,

We moved your thread to the NCLEX forum.

Well, the questions come from a test question bank. There are many that are pulled from, but they couldn't just hand out the answers to these questions, as subsequent test takers will receive some of the same questions.

True, a person can pass NCLEX and still not be competent. However, NCLEX is a national exam, and I wouldn't want anyone who couldn't meet these standards caring for me in the clinical setting. It's another important measure.

Hand out was not the request in the statement, but seeing the graph to show.how you did. It shouldn't be a problem.. No one wants to see the question now that's just down right cheating.

Also, they may presume to be competent, even in an clinical setting..May still not be..I'm sure ..if they where just from passing a test that you can't see your results not actually question..it still wouldn't be mistakes being made today..

The demonstration of entry level clinical competency occurs at school as each school of nursing is mandated to follow a published curriculum including minimum hours in lab and clinical settings as defined by the board of nursing, state regulations and the nurse practice act. Schools and academic records are periodically audited by the state board of nursing investigators to assess compliance. The academic knowledge and critical thinking required of an entry level nurse is demonstrated at a national standard of entry level knowledge (as determined by a consortium of US boards of nursing) via passing the NCLEX. Just because someone is competent when assessed there is no guarantee that there will not be mistakes made in the future. Statistically anyone who takes the NCLEX enough times will pass, however nearly 90% of US educated candidates pass the NCLEX on their first attempt.

The competent of a nurse is not the subject. Rn nclex.. And are you sure you pass, did you see results are just a pass.. That's the question??

What are you saying? Are you saying the NCLEX is rigged so that some pass and others don't? Seems too shady and far fetched to be a legitimate concern.

As to going on to make mistakes in the future, NCLEX world is nursing in a PERFECT UTOPIA. A hospital that is never understaffed with equipment that is always functioning. It has nurses who have had adequate rest between shifts and physicians who are always ready and willing to be contacted whenever the nurse needs them. As we know, this is not the real world. Nurses are humans affected by circumstance. The NCLEX could never account for this. Mistakes will happen

You make no sense. What is the difference in seeing pass/fail vs a numerical score? The exam has been scored pass fail for decades and qualified thousands of competent nurses. I'm sorry you have failed the NCLEX-RN three times and now have decided that it must be a big secret conspiracy since you haven't been able to secure a passing result. The fact remains that the overwhelming majority of candidates pass the NCLEX on their first attempt.

If you fail the exam you get a report showing if you were below passing, close to passing, etc. The test is pass/fail. If you're above the line then you pass and do not need to see your performance report. You sound angry, did you take the NCLEX yet?

OP has posted in another thread that they have attempted the NCLEX-RN unsuccessfully 3 times so far, so it appears the OP is frustrated and angry.

Between that and the OP's post wording/grammar, I'm wondering if the issue is English as a foreign language. Perhaps if that's the case OP would benefit from an ESL course?
