It's an exellent book. It's how I learned. He makes good analogies with great illustrations, and a bit of humor thrown in to keep it from being dry. It takes you through starting with the very basics.

I learned my EKG interpretaion with Dubins. It is really the "Dick and Jane" of EKG interpretation. I don't evem know if it still in print.

It is still in print and on at least its fifth edition.

I saw that book after the fact, and I can agree that it is a great one. It still exists, at least I saw it in Barnes and Noble last year.

Another excellent title is "EKG Plain and Simple" by Karen Ellis. I love EKGs and hope to get a chance to use the skill eventually. Good luck!:yeah:

It comes with a CD, too.

The Dubin book is great for learning EKGs, however, some people refuse to buy a copy new considering the guy lost his license and spent jail time for some less than ethical activities involving a minor.

Yep, the books are still in print. Rapid Interpretation of EKG's is at least in it's sixth edition and is considered by many the "bread and butter" material required for learning ECG interp. The books are good; however, Mr. Dubin's past history is questional at best.

Do not forget the videotapes and drugs...
