You gotta do the math! How much can you put down on the car, how much will the monthly payments be, how much school loans will you have to pay back? If you are a new nurse, I discourage it, cuz u really don't know how much actual money you will betaking home. I would wait. Its not different than figureing out the payments on any car, regardless of your income. Also, will you be moving to a bigger place, apt or house, that will affect how much money you have left over. Don't do it....I say....
Well i WILL be new. Im not there yet unfortunately ( i wish time would speed up). I wont be paying school loans. Ive had financial aid in college every semester, so ive never had to pay anything really (just books). Also i dont plan on moving anywhere for awhile. So basically im not really paying much for anything except small bills such as my cell phone, and internet at home. thats pretty much it. So i guess i can buy it =] how exciting!

Remember the more you earn the more you spend. When I started working, the first thing I wanted was a new car. But when I got enough money I decided a new flat screen TV would be first, then I wanted a new laptop, then I wanted a XBox 360 and a Playstation 3. Then I got a better cable and cell phone company. Then I went back to school. Now I want new stuff for my bedroom. Car is still on the back burner..................I really really want it though....
To answer your random question. I suppose if it were me I could afford it. If I didn't want to eat that is.

seems kinda like a waste to me seeing how there are other things you could do with the money but everyone has to have that thing they love and if that is it for you than make it your goal. I wouldnt jump right into it tho.
By the way they are cool cars.

What would your payments be per month, plus insurance, gas, and everything else that goes along with a car. Payments on a 70,000 car would be over 500 per month I'd say. You live with your parents, so no rent? How about food, clothing, going out? I wonder if you will have enough money to buy the car. I also wonder if you could get a loan.

we all have our dream cars .. mine is a Range Rover.. but instead i have a toyota corolla 2008.. and a old mini van( 2005 ) ... my husband drives a toyota prius... i have my kids to tote to ballet, soccer , french lessons, singing lessons ,different musical lessons and thousands of places.... so my dream of a hunter green range rover is still a dream... if you can afford it and want it... get it... enjoy it while you are young and have no children and bills...

All I have to say is this: Consider the maintenance!!!!!!!!
My DH bought a cherry red Cadillac ElDorado as part of his midlife crisis. Car is a dream!!!! But......parts that on a regular Chevy that would cost $50 are $300 on this thing. EVERYTHING has that Cadillac name and that Cadillac price on it. And I doubt that its any different with a 'Vette. Just keep that in mind.
Otherwise, if that's what you want and it won't break the bank, buy it and be happy!!!!
