question to current nurses

Hi there, new nurse student here about to start nursing school. I am very well aware of the different type of thinking that goes with nursing school (critical thinking not memorization.) I read awhile back on these forums people suggesting a book that really helped them get their minds to start critically thinking and looking at questions NCLEX style. I cant remember what book it was so im here asking for suggestions of any nurse who used such a book. What book helped your mind critically think?

Thanks :)

fantastic just what I needed thank you Aspirin

NANDA-I 2012-2014, $29 bucks at Amazon or $25 for your Kindle and it will help you with everything you'll do in nursing school, especially the "think like a nurse" problem that is so rampant. THE reference for care planning...which is a result of critical thinking about the nursing process...and there you go, way ahead of your classmates before you even start.

I can't remember the specific name of the book but I've been recommended the priority, delegation and decision making, I think

The name of the book is Critical Thinking and Nursing Judgement...you can find it on Amazon, when you go and buy that NANDA book. ;)

I was introduced to this book many moons ago by one of my professors in my PN program...still use this book even though I have been a nurse for 8 years, including 1 year as an RN...my most recommended book on AN to nursing students, and new nurses. :)

Actually I found it! It's prioritization, delegation and assignment by LaCharity

Is it Critical Thinking and Clinical Judgment? I tried to find it on Amazon but I can't find one titled Critical Thinking and Nursing Judgment. Do you know who the author is?
