does the PVT still work?

hi i just took the nclex exam and about half of my questions were SATA. My computer shut off at 75 and i am so nervous. I got out of the testing center crying. I can not wait 48 business hours for the unofficial result. Does anyone know if the PVT still work?

There hundreds of post on this very subject on the NCLEX discussion forum. Go check those threads out. And I wouldn't risk $200 on a trick.

You can wait 48 hours for official results (yes they are official results) v.s. doing the PVT (the PVT are unofficial results) & getting the bad pop up & thinking your failed or getting the good pop then finding out you failed. Or shelling out $200 for trying to do the PVT. You can wait the 2 days & pay the $8 for the official quick results. Find something to do to take your mind off of the wait. Good luck!

From what I hear, most people leave feeling as if they failed. Go relax :)

While I feel for you and I know the anxiety is awful you are a grown up and you absolutely can wait the 48 hours.

I was just in your shoes 2 days ago. But I got through the 48 hours and got my Quick Results this morning, and I passed (77 questions)

The thing about PVT is even if you do it, there's no way of knowing with 100% accuracy that it's right. Especially if you use bogus credit card info to do it. If you put in real CC info, you run the risk of getting charged $200. It's just not worth it. Yes, the waiting is EXCRUCIATING when you *really* want to know. But, it will be over before you know it.

I put my mind at ease by cleaning the house, doing laundry, etc. just to pass the time. So now my house is spotless, too...LOL :D

Since you finished in 75 questions, you more than likely passed. Were you a good student in nursing school? Did you prep well? You should be just fine
