My school didn't allow you to give meds without an instructor right there to cosign.

When to list preceptorship on resume
Include it but put the dates that it will start and end. Most likely recruiters might not even look at your resume right away so it might still be sitting on their pile of papers at any point in time, even weeks or months down the line. So you want to be clear but still include it because it would be a shame not too. Also include "anticipated graduation" date.

BSN or Associates Degree
I'm guessing from your post you are in the Cleveland area? The hospitals are definitely competing to find BSN nurses. I know for a fact that at least a few of the major hospitals have goals that state they want a high percentage of their nurses with a BSN. Times are changing and it you are in a highly competitive area people will want to hire a BSN.

Struggling in year 2 nursing. Fear of failing
You need to meet with your profs. Go through your tests question by question and find out what you are doing. Are you changing your answers right to wrong, are you misreading the question, did you not study in a way that will help you with the test? Your profs most likely want you to do well and are willing to help.

Tips/tricks voiding trial
Anyone have any tips or tricks on getting patients to void during a voiding trial? Or even just after several high bladder scans? I would prefer not to IC if there are other ideas.

Tri-C ADN to CSU BSN
Why don't you just go into an accelerated BSN program to start with. There are several in the area. Baldwin Wallace, CSU, a few others.

What did you do after nursing school graduation?
I had already applied and been hired for my position (pending NCLEX passage) before graduation. I graduated, went on a two week vacation to the UK, studied a little for the NCLEX, finally got permission to take the test, passed NCLEX and then started the job.

I was doing well!
I'm going to be honest with you, I didn't really study that much in nursing school. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BSN from a very intense accelerated program. Don't let other people make you think that you have to study 24/7. In fact it might be better if you don't study 24/7. Relax, calm down, take some time for yourself. No matter how well you know the material you won't do as well on NCLEX style questions if you didn't sleep or are freaking out.

Pay grades
Just curious. Does your non-union hospital share pay grades for an RN (BSN) and based on experience and MSN or certifications?

Figuring this out alone - BSN first?
I had a bachelors and a masters in another area. Went into a 12 month accelerated BSN program (it only had 3 prereq classes), no experience working in health care. Graduated this fall and was getting interviews and a job offer before I graduated. I would say research thoroughly the kind of program you want to be in and aim for one or two particular programs. I really liked the accelerated BSN program, but it was intense and you really don't have time to work during it. If that is for you go for it.

Failed a Nursing Class, Need Advice
Went to a 12 month accelerated BSN program, started in August 2016 and graduated August 2017. I took the prereqs (AP 1, AP 2 and Micro) in May, June, July 2016, right before I started the program. I had not taken any kind of nursing or anything before that. I just passed my NCLEX-RN this month, first time at 75 questions.

Being rejected with a perfect score, is it normal?
Apply somewhere else. I can imagine if this school is going to give you such a hard time that perhaps as you move along in the nursing program that they would have more issues.

Is spending $80,000 on a private ABSN school a waste
I went to a private school, a little less then $35000 for a 12 months ABSN all inclusive including books, uniform, ACLS, PALS, KAPLAN course, and HESI course. The school has a NCLEX pass rate of 95%

Second Week of Clinicals, Not Going Well
I feel like there are some people are are really extroverted who see introversion as a weakness that needs to be fixed, which it definitely is not.

Mad at myself- changing answers on exams
You have to figure out if you are one of those people who can change their answer and usually end up right or if you change it to incorrect. For me, I usually change from incorrect to correct, but I know others are not that way. To thine own self be true.

I am not satisfied with my assigned preceptorship unit
I did my preceptorship in PACU. You see all kinds of cool patients with different procedures and develop awesome assessment skills. I had docs wanting to show me all kinds of things and took the time to explain alot like how exactly he was doing a nerve block and showing my on the ultrasound. It is what you make of it.

I failed out of nursing school midway, now what?
It sounds like you need to figure out your priorities. You need to get your own things in order before taking on any other responsibilities.

Appeal Letter For Nursing School Rejection
The school cannot make a clinical site take you if they don't like what is on your background check. So any school, this one or the next one has the duty to say that based on your criminal history you MAY not be able to complete the required clinicals.
