I cannot speak fully for the entire United States but where I live there is a shortage of nurses. They have made it easier to get into the nursing program so that they can fill the shortage.

I'm confused as to why some people have to take science portions of the HESI and some don't. I was told that when I study, not to go over any science related portions because the test is only english and math. Did they change the format at the exam?

Thank you for your help! I was amazed when I found out today from my advisor that I only had to do English parts and 1 math part. I was expecting to have to do Chemistry, Physics, and AP. :)
