What to do about DNP and flu shot?
There are plenty people who do not get a flu shot in health care. For whatever reason. Wear a mask if they require you to do so. Not a big deal.

Dr. told patient, "Nurses are STUPID".
Why does it say, the doctor came in to see a patient. A PA is definitely not a doctor. A good reply would have been; "The doctor ordered this". :)

Workplace Harassment forced me to resign
Sorry you're going through this. Been there and done that at a extremely large home health care agency in a very large city in the US. I left voluntarily as a regional clinical director, but was threatened with firing if i didn't do what they wanted me to do. (which was unfair to my staff, and would have cost them their job and I refused to assist in that) Go through HR, make it known and or public. If there is nothing fishy on your part, they don't have a leg to stand on!

I got fired while being on orientation at a hospital for just 1 week. Why did this happen?
Sorry that this happened to you, but that being said, orientation is the time period that both the employer and employee check each other out for a good fit. Its also the time to be on your best behavior. If either sees a potential problem during this time, that would be the time to stop the relationship and terminate, or leave. In this particular case, they probably saw a potential problem. You left without notifying the instructor, getting interrupted by phone calls during orientation (or work), personal affairs/problems that interfere while in class (or work) and you left for a long time (half an hour) All red flags. It tells them what can be anticipated when you work there.....

I can't do chest compressions (CPR) will I be terminated?
Interesting. I just did my re-certification for CPR/BLS and there were a number of people in this class who were unable to do regular chest compressions for one reason or another. Nobody was turned away because of that. Some were offered a stepping stool to make it easier on their back. Don't know how this would work in a real life situation. Either way, they all passed the entire class/course and will be getting their certification. This was a mixed group of professionals through a large hospital.
