  1. DATE RECEIVED: March 22, 2006 PROGRAM: ADN SCHOOL: Blue Ridge Community College STATE: VA WHEN DOES SCHOOL START: August 2006
  2. Congrats Julie....98% is awesome!! How weird about the grades....why didn't they get the credit that they thought they were due? Sounds like you are going to have to really pay attention to the grades this semester (I am sure that you already do :)) Wonder why there was so many mistakes? I have my test covering the endocrine and blood chapters next wednesday. I am really nervous about it plus this semester they are trying something different...they are putting our lecture and lab tests on the same night. I feel a little overwhelmed with that. I am doing ok with most of it but I am struggling with the actions of hormones. Hopefully, it will click soon. Jen
  3. Hi Everyone, I just wanted to add a couple of sites to Kayel's already awesome list. Hope that everyone is doing well. http://highered.mcgraw-hill.com/sites/0072919329/student_view0/index.html and http://www.testandcalc.com/quiz/index.asp Jen
  4. I so can relate. I took A&P I back in 2000 and here I am trying to take II. My instructor is great but it just isn't clicking with me. I am hoping that it will click now that I can spend some time on it. My classes are on Mon and Wed and since we are out of school on Mon...that gives me a little less than a week to learn this chapter and get back in the groove of things. We are currently working on the Endocrine System. Good luck to you. Jen
  5. My A&P Instructor recommended these sites. http://www.testandcalc.com/quiz/index.asp and http://highered.mcgraw-hill.com/sites/0072919329/student_view0/ Jen
  6. Hello...welcome and good luck to you also. :) Jen
  7. I know that there are a few of us that are starting classes today and I wanted to wish everyone good luck! :) Jen
  8. I will be taking sociology and A&PII Jen
  9. We are using the Hole's Human Anatomy and Physiology 10th ed. Jen
  10. Thats great.....congrats and good luck! :) Jen
  11. Why is it taking so long to find out if you qualify for loans at your school? My husband has a masters degree and is going back to get another bachelors degree and he filled out all of his paperwork and they told him right then what he was eligible for. I guess that I just don't understand why it would take up to 10 weeks when they already have your fafsa on file. Could you take one class next semester and just pay for it out of pocket? Jen
  12. Well, I just said a prayer for you. Good luck tonight....you will do great!! Jen
  13. Well, I will be starting on Jan 9. I am really nervous, it has been a few years since I have taken A&PI. I am concerned that I won't remember everything. Wishing everyone luck!
  14. Definitely, go ahead and get on a waiting list. Can you take this class at another school? That is what I am having to do my sociology class. If nothing else works, email, call, or visit the professor like Annabelle57 suggested. Good luck!!
  15. Congrats!!!!
  16. Thank you so much for your reply. I am so nervous. My math skills are really rusty but I have been reading the net study guide and doing the problems at the end. Hopefully, I will pass. Thanks again. Jen
  17. I have been reading a lot of posts regarding the NET. I have read that the reading part is really difficult and my question is, Are you expected to finish all of the reading questions? Do they take off for not answering questions? It just seems like a lot of reading in a short amount of time. But then again, I haven't taken it yet. (I will at the end of the month). Thanks. Jen
  18. Hello. I don't have an answer for you but I was wondering the same thing. I have been trying to get involved at the hospital here for the past two months to volunteer and I am not getting anywhere with them. They act like they don't want volunteers and then when I asked if I could job shadow...the lady didn't know what I was talking about. Hopefully, someone can help.
  19. Hello, what part of WV are you from? I'm from Kenova....near Huntington. Jen
  20. Hello, I am new to this website and wanted to say that I really love the format and how helpful and nice everyone seems to be. I am getting ready to go back to school this fall and I have just 4 more classes to take before clinicals (that is if I get into the nursing program for next fall). I was thinking about volunteering or possibly working to get my foot in the door. I have a couple of questions though. 1. Would it be worth it to do volunteer work? 2. Does anyone know what an ed tech is or what they do? Thanks in advance. Jennifer
  21. Hey Lanie, Good Luck on your test! Hope the site is helpful...it was for me. Jen
  22. Hello, I don't know if you have ran across this site yet but here is the link. http://www.testprepreview.com/compass_practice.htm Hope this helps!
