  1. Im just curious now about your charting system? Is this something outside of your electronic system for health room visits?
  2. In my district it is medically complex. Our states educational board has a definition for all the levels of care. Maybe check there? Ill see if i can find my states and post it.
  3. Great article! Glad to see it pop up years later!

I agree with above. It sounds bad but its another thing that gets some over reaction. Had my TB scare so many times too!
  5. If contact with parent is hard we will let them rest in a health room..sometimes all day (we have private rooms). My two schools (primary and middle) has health room assistants so someone is there to alert me with something serious.
  6. You have the right to clarify any orders you arent comfortable with regardless of anyone elses interpretations.
  7. Check with your local school districts. I found mine on the website and it was as a sub covering maternity leave for 3 months, then it turned permanent at another school in district without lapse. I got lucky. Check around! Good luck!
  8. That really does seem like a lot and definitely something to clarify with primary if you have some pause. Plus if the student needs albuterol that often (im assuming thats what it is?) what else is the student taking at home? Any preventives?
