Did you pass the test? If so, How did you improve the score?

Hello Everyone, I failed situational interpersonal competence by Prophecy. I need to pass this test to start travel nursing. I have been a nurse for five years and I do not remember nursing standard by books. I was very confident when I completed the first test. My recruiter kept on telling me to answer the questions by nursing books. I have to pick the most and least effective intervention after watching the video about collaboration, conflict resoltion, critical thinking, customer service, honesty/ ethics, patient rapport, and coworkers' inappropriate behaviors. I have no idea why I failed. Please give me advice to improve the score. Thank you so much.

Hello, are you currently in the Navy reserve? I am about to submit my packet for Med-surge in Navy reserve. I want to make sure that it is not a problem to switch specialty after the first contract. I recently started working in OR and want to be a periop nurse in the navy reserve later.

Navy Reserves. Currently, I am in AFR as an enlisted and not able to get a conditional release from my unit. I am going into IRR and submit packet afrter this summer if they have openings for me. I do not want to give up this because I got waivers for medical and age. keep us posted what is going on.

Hello, I am 44 years old and made a packet for Navy last year. I got a waiver because I have 4 years of active time. Navy's cutoff age is 42yo. Good luck!!

Hello Alicia 777 I am going to finish my FNP program in 2019. I am taking a class per one semester. I am a med-surge /step-down nurse but interested in OR nursing. Sadly I am having a hard time to get in the Preop101 program. I have an interview with outpatient OR facility in this week. I believe it is a surgery center, and they will train on preop, scrubbing, and PACU. I want to take a path you did and like to work at outpatient OR as a FNP in the future. Do you think this new opportunity would help me to achieve my goal later? I have to succeed the interview first, but this job will be pay-cut and a longer commute. I want to make sure it is for me first. Thank you.

Hello, My spouse is a LPN and terminated from VA hospital( CLC) before his probation was over. We are so sad and depressed because he did not get any write-ups or warnings. Does anybody know about employee record after the termination. Does he have a chance to be rehired ? He really loved the job and want to work at VA again.He is also a vet.

Hello, I am a new nurse and working on med surge floor and be finishing BSN by next spring. I was in the U.S. Army for years and became a nurse after honorable discharge. I was a grease monk mechanic. I would like to go back to military as a RN, but do not know which branch I should go. Which branch has more opportunities for nurse? Like assignments, scholarship, training, and etc.... Thank you for your advice.
