Which student is at an accelerated ADN program?
I'm 5 months into a 15 month accelerated ADN program at a private school. I do really like that the class sizes are smaller, but that doesn't mean it's any less competitive. Its very fast paced and you will be very busy. It is stressful, but just take it one day at a time. And always stay ahead, it's so hard to catch up if you fall behind. Congratulations on being accepted and good luck in your program !

First day of clinicals
So happy to have finished my first semester already, however I'm nervous for my first day of clinicals tomorrow. Any tips or advice about what to do vs what not to do, things to keep in mind, or any other tips/advice?

Are any of you using an ipad with stylus to take notes?
My instructors email all of us the PowerPoint presentations and I pull it up on notability on my iPad. I love it ! I can highlight and make notes right on the slide or outline.

Bridge program
Any suggestions on a good(and reasonably priced) online RN-BSN program/school? Also.. Has anyone gone to a "tech" school and had problems with getting into a bridge program ? I was told by the instructors that I wouldn't since I will still be receiving an ADN, but I'm just wondering if anyone ran into any problems.

High School Student Wanting To Become An RN?
I graduated high school in 2010 and have been doing prereqs a little at a time since then and I'm finally starting the nursing program next month to get my ASN. I will be bridging to BSN 100%, but if I could go back and change things, I would go 4 year straight from high school and don't waste time with your ASN first. A lot of states are going to start requiring your BSN in the next 5 years or so anyway (from what I've heard).

AS vs. BSN
From what I have heard is that you will need your bsn by 2018, I believe, to be hired as an RN in most states. Nothing wrong with bridging to bsn though after you have you 2 yr.
