As a result of this unexpected action it has been necessary to make immediate adjustments to several previously announced cut-off dates. All Citizenship and Immigration Services Offices have been notified of the following: Effective Monday July 2, 2007 there will be no further authorizations inresponse to requests for Employment-based preference cases. All numbers available to these categories under the FY-2007 annual numerical limitation have been made available. Employment preference numbers will once again be available to these chargeability areas beginning October 1, 2007, under the FY-2008 annual numerical limitation. He everyone, we constantly monitoring NVC thru phone and for this week alone, we made a call almost everyday and we received 2 different responses. The first one was "The lawyer will be contacted in 60-90 days. If you change your address......" and hen after two days, "The Visa Fee bill was sent to your lawyer on Sept 2006. Wait for 2-4 weeks to process....." Both (twins) have the same message. I already advised them to email their agency and re submit the DS230 questionaire the've given to them before. Tihs is to anticipate the possible request for it. My only concern is, when the same documents were requested/processed last year (as i recall because I am with them completing it), it was one month close to rerogression. Well, If we will calculate the time they spend before the completion of documents to submission to local consulate, it will take them another 2-3 months in which the next predicted retrogression will takes place. I hope it is not....... Hope everyone will get their Visa and Continue your dream..

Hi Fruity, Renew your NBI Certificate. That is enough. But if you worked or been outside the Philippines for more than 6 month, then you must need a Police Clearance from that Country. Hope this help. Qatrn :monkeydance:

hi fruity! when did you receive this message? we also send an inquiry to nvc last week and still the status of my twins are the same "no visa available". as i've said, before the retro, their case is completed and will be notified (lawyer) if the file is transferred to local consulate. their pd, may 2006 & the other one is june 2006. actually, they both received a call from their employer when the visa bulletin became cuurent. as in early in the morning and they were informed to complete their vaccine and police clearance because they are expected to get thier visa this year.... god knows and we all leave to him. god bless to all of you and i am also very excited to know the outcome of all the pensing cases here. goodluck!

Hi, this is with regards to my sister's case. I read from previous post that some members here were able to get a reply from NVC about their case. Although, the reply does not imply any positive result but then, was just wondering why we only received reply by phone or by email the same thing, "that the case is still NOT qualified for further processing" something. Her last message she got from NVC before the retrogression is that her requirements are complete and once the file is submitted to the consular offcie, the lawyer will be notified" something like that. Can anyone explain this please. Thank you...

Hi, My case is somewhat different. I signed up to an agency and unfortunately the petition was denied. I asked the agency to cancell my contract but they refused. I am a passer since 2004 (cgfns,ielts/nclex). Now my license will expire and no single agency/hospital shows an interest to sponsor me because of issue from my agency. Now, I am just a good observer and enjoying my work here in the middle east. I am also the consultant/adviser of my younger sister and brother who are both nurses (twins). They got a very good employer who processes their papers and hopefully be included for this year visa. Anyway, it is always best if you consult a lawyer or your prospective employer and never lie about your case. God Bless....

Hi, How would you know if your case is completed? This question is in behalf of my sister. Her PD is My 2006 and her last message rom NVC dated Nov. 8, 2006- "All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing has been received. As soon as the file is transferred to the US Embassy or Consulate General, the designated representative of this case (attorney) will be notified." We send an email to nvc a while ago and usually we receive message receipt whenever we send message but by this time we don't.

Actually, my brother collected the sealed envelope the following day and mailed it (Post office/registred mail) within the vicinity of the school. My school is in Quezon City so around that area only. Just download the form through their website and give it to your school registrar. They know what to do. Goodluck..

Just send an email to new mexico board of nursing, state your interest to take the nclex and your address....hope this help..(you could find the exact email on their website. you can as well download the forms and start the application while waiting for the finger print card to come)

here is my experience; july 2005 - i downloaded the form and requested fbi finger print card. - requested my brother to submit the request form to my school for them to fill up and submit directly to nm bon in sealed envelope. (but my bro mail it to post office within the vicinity of the school. - started nclex review (nsna 5th edition) august 2005- received the fbi card and completed the finger printing (police department cidg) on the same day. finished the notarization same day. filled up the application form and paid the fee using my credit card. - submitted the application and fbi card (bankdraft) through fedex. - received email from nm bon to register to pearson and i did it quickly.(i'm online then) - received att 5 minutes after registration. - called pearson australia for hongkong exam using again my credit card. - on going nclex review september 2005 - still in review mode ...nclex review nsna + saunders q&a. october 2005 - went to hongkong took the exam stopped at 75. - after 2 days, pearson result still not available but result submitted to bon accdg to website when i check online. - check the bon website by encoding my first and last name. - i saw my name with my license number. - bingo!!! i passed the exam. - received pass result after one via snail mail. - received nursing license (like atm card) again after one week. hope this help.....

Hi!, I just talked to my friend who submitted an application to a Texas Based Staffing Agency. They set an interview to another Staffing agency based in California and was selected. They emailed him the contract and the documents that must be submitted with the signed contract. He didn't submitted the documents and yet checked the name of the agency in the website. He read the company profile and looks fine but when he check the email address of the contacts, most of them were using the company account while the person who is communicatiing with him is just using a hotmail account. He sense something so he send a letter of inquiry to the agency and inquire if they know the name of the person who recruited him. He gave all the informations and after a week, the agency replied informing him that they don't have a staff working with them with that name. They requested more informations and asked to forward the communications made to him. He gave the contact number and even the name of the first staffing agency who arrange the interview. He is waiting for their reply. My question is, Is it possible to have 2 different agency in one name? Or Anybody can recruit in behalf of a company without their authorization/knowledge? Sigh..... Is there an institution in the US or a website wherein we can check if the recruitment agency is a Registered Agency and allowed to recruit? Thanks....

Hi Adyam, once they received all your documents including the fees, they'll inform you usually within 3-4 weeks. They will let you take the exam even your criminal check is not yet over but they will not release your license until you've complted it. Actually, you can now register to Pearson and inform the board via email about your registration so that when they find you eligible, they will issue you immediately your ATT and you may then set your schedule of exam. I have almost the same problem. But in my case, i know that my petition was denied due to the technical reason my gency doesn't want to reveal to me. I asked them that i am withdrawing my application and they warn me that they will suit me. They told me that they will refile my application but it's been 3 months now and no word from them even after sending them several emails. I found an agency who is willing to sponsor me and they just asked me if i pay all the exams i had, i said yes. My previous agency did not spend a single cent to any of my papers except the filing fee and related expenses for the denied petition. Well, I don't know if my new petition will be denied and my ex agency will file a complaint to the USCIS but one thing I am sure, If this is not meant for me, so be it. Anyway, I have a good and stable job and will just wait for the right time to be in the US. We all know that there are so many unscrupulous agencies around and we have many warnings but my only question is, how does the governement of US let thses people cheat us? Is there any government agency where we can file a complaint especially if you are outside US?

Hi, I don't know if this is the right venue for this question; My I140 has complted its 180 days (nebraska) last week and and LUD changed twice with the same status. Today, i received an email saying that my case was transferred to Administrative Appeal Office. What does it mean? Pls help.

I checked my status though USCIS on line and there is a change in the LUD,none in the status message. Is this a denial? I am under Nebraska Service Center. My Notice of action is April 2005. thanks....
