  2. Wow! I'm sorry, I'm thinking that there is more of this to come for all of us. Best wishes for all of us.
  3. I am currently an LPN and thinking if applying for an PCT position in a hospital. One because I miss hospital work and can't get hired back because of lack of clinical experience ( in Community Nursing now). Two I am attempting to go back to school for my RN and to have my foot in the door. I have contacted the Fl BON to see if a LPN can be a PCT but no answer as of today. Does anyone have any thoughts or answers. Thank you in advance for you time!?

  11. 41 years young here! Starting nursing prerequisites in the fall! Two babies 20 and 14 lol! Probably end up in college with the both of them. Advise or encouragement would be greatly appreciated! Very nervous! Have been an LPN for 10 years have not been back to school since. Hoping to go all the way to my BSN from scratch. Starting with 1 to 3 classes in the fall, but I work Full time is this a possible or should I only start with One?? How do online classes work as Seminole State Florida? I have a long haul ahead of me but with the grace and mercy of God, here I goooooo! Thank you J
  12. Don't give up!!! If you don't get the grade you need with either class, take it again! Just one at time! Taking both of them at the same time and making it this far is an accomplishment in itself! With a beautiful baby girl to boot! Yes I agree child care would help even if it's just an allotted time of the day or week that you could Solely put to studying. Time management is the key! You can do it!! It might take ya little longer to complete your goal but at least you will have one!

  15. I agree with Klone, love working in community nursing, it is my passion! But I do regret leaving my clinical position all together. I miss it, my brain misses it! And now trying to return to school at 41 for my BSN I feel I'm out of loop. So yes stay with clinical keep your skills sharp! Hope this helps:)
