  1. I like it. Paid for it a while ago after using the free version. @chicagonurse89 you are right, questions are quality and more than I need. I love the lab values section, mnemonics, and other little extras with it
  2. Try not to think about it!!! That should be easy
  3. ianursing, I agree about NCLEX Mastery!! I spoke with the creator and WOW the customer service is awesome! Its nice to have an expert just a simple email away :)
  4. Its similar. But in my opinion, so are most resources. This is why I go for the extras such as best rationales, best categories and organization, and best app since I like statistics about how I am doing. I think ianursing mentioned NCLEX Mastery in another post and I completely agree with her, its better than Saunders app
  5. That is impossible to answer. The NCLEX gives weight to certain questions and less weight to easy questions. The passing standard is not something the NCLEX people talk about. My best advice to you is to practice practice practice. I think your current level may not be good enough. The problem with the NCLEX is that it doesn't test your abilities as a nurse, it tests your abilities to answer difficult test questions. Try a new source for a change of pace. Mobile apps are a great way to study with cool modern technology. My favorites are NCLEX mastery, NCSBN, and Davis
  6. Im not its possible with that program, but there are plenty of others out there with more capabilities. You can try some apps such as NCLEX Mastery and NCSBN's NCLEX review
  7. Study every moment you get. I use my phone to study away from my house any spare moment I get. I stopped using text books and starting using my phone months ago. Let me know if you want a few specific suggestions
  8. I was already asked about this during interviews, and actually, it's hard to answer! I would say, my weakness is that I tend to overwork, therefore, I sometimes have difficulty managing my time and I am prone to burnouts, but of course, I am trying my best to work these things out
  9. SATA questions...I hate them too!so complicated, but in taking NCLEX, I don't have any options but to learn how to deal with them right??
  10. Definitely!!!a lot of my classmates in nursing school confessed that they chose nursing school because they thought that math is not going to be a problem, however, they were wrong! But still, we all survived nursing school...all things can be learned for sure! One of my fears too, are math subjects, as I view it as one of my weakness, I am not good at numbers! but when I actually focused on math and took time to learn about it ( by myself..I read..I practice, I solve math problems on my own), I found out that it's actually an easy subject! You just have to put your heart in what you're doing for you to be good at it!If math is you weakness, make ways to strengthen it! study hard and ask help from other (tutor) good luck and hoping all the best for you!
  11. My Mantra: everything happens for a reason and everything is in God's hand... since there are things that are beyond our control, it's easier for me to accept both negative and positive things!
  12. My vote goes the current logo
  13. You become disoriented with time, place and person=)
  14. back in school, I had a study group!it's a funny because we just study few hours before out tests, but we find it effective!what we do was we ask and answer questions, we have some sort of mini discussions,it's much easier for us to remember concepts that way, but before we do group study, we make sure that we have studied individually so each can have an input during discussions in group study!
