  1. But wouldn't you want to stage the wound and make sure there is no tunneling or undermining? I feel like the human dignity DX would be last priority because your patients physical safety comes first.
  2. Hi can you please email me the review guide you used. [email protected] Thank you so much!
  3. Which one would be more flexible with your schedule?
  4. When I spoke to my recruiter he said I was selected pending FBI background check and once that clears he would begin setting up the docs to commission and it could be all done by December.
  5. Just got off with mine as well I was selected! Good luck to everyone!
  6. I called my recruiter yesterday and he said results should be in sometime this month... Not what I wanted to hear!
  7. Talk to the instructor first before you go to the program director
  8. I guess so. I've submitted everything only to have my degree plan kicked back because in the summer I am at 6-8 credits and my school does not classify students in summer or winter terms
  9. I have a question regarding NCP. What if your school does not classify students as full time for summer? Should you even bother applying because some BSN programs will often not have a summer session

  11. I went by myself too. I did not get priority on anything. We also did not do any dental.
  12. Did you recruiter know how many spots are open for this cycle?
  13. I have been waiting almost a month to interview with nurse officers which is also required!
  14. Well for one the books are a little pricy especially if you get the e-package. They say to start with that and if you want the physical copies its only $150 and some change more. Next you have to buy that skills tote which is $130+. There is also something called ATI that I guess we will be using that is another $200. Add in the drug screen, classroom clickers, stethoscope, and uniforms and I have spent more than block 1 tuition already! I might even be missing some costs there was a lot of info
  15. Okay so for those at different school within MCCD that haven't had their orientation yet. Prepare for yourselves for the sticker shock. I seriously feel nickel and dimed lol
  16. This is a good thread in that specific forum https://allnurses.com/first-year-after/poll-new-1st-909434.html
  17. Thank you! Even tho we are different schools I shall take good notes so you can feel free to ask me any questions
  18. Haha I know exactly how you feel!! Good call on bringing those documents I also am thinking about bringing that consortium agreement as well
  19. Anyone know if we should bring anything specific tomorrow for orientation??
  20. Thank you very much I am in the process of putting together my NCP kit so this helps me immensely!
  21. What would you recommend focusing on for the personal statement
  22. What are some good points to work on to make sure you are competitive for this? What is the average GPA of selected applicants?
  23. Okay that's odd then I wonder why he is saying that I am fine to apply?
  24. I'm confused because when I spoke to a recruiter they said unless I was already in a nursing program with 2 years left I couldn't apply and if NCP is set 2 years in future how does one even apply??
  25. Does that mean it's too late to apply if you are graduating 2016?
