I submitted the usual requirement needed to the guard. Just hand it on him. It will be better if you have contact person to Providence so that the guard will surely pass it on the right person in charge. Updates on the bldg, most likely it will be finish by 3rd or 4th quarter this year.

desperate nurse
In my batch as RNheals, i do have 3 colleagues ages 37-38. Ages is not a problem as long as you want to pursue the nursing career. First do some refreshers in basic nursing skills like BLS, ACLS, IVT. Nothing is easy in nursing but it is always good to learned again. Good luck

RH Heals for 2014
Hi nurses! RN heals Update: Our hospital just conducted interviews for those presently hired RNheals for next year contractualization. According to our HR manager there will be NO MORE New batch of RN heals for next year. If we get hired our salary funds will be getting from the budget of hospital. Out of 430 presently hired RNheals we will be cut down to 170 only. It was a 3 days interview that will last tomorrow (nov 21).. Our hospital is one of the DoH hospital so it just means that the RN heals programs has been abolished already. Hope this would help.

2006 and up Registered Nurses' Career Path Status
Hi nurses! Just to share. Im currently working at EAMC as a RNheals batch 4 Nurse. This is quite interesting that before I reach being a real nurse I also struggle on the career that I have right now. Graduated and passed the local board way back 2009. As I got my PRC license I already applied for several hospital in the metro but unfortunately Im lacking the basic nurse training like ivt, bls, redcross, acls etc and some just offer volunteerism only. I decided to work to other company so i can care of the expenses on the trainings needed. But as I work on other field, i enjoy the life of earning. I been in different jobs and companies (bpo, hmo, sales, brand promotion, medrep, pdn and some part-time jobs). I never been in a company for a year because i easily got bored and I always say that this is not the job that I'm into. I always looking forward to be a nurse. 2011 i got the chance to be part of pahinungod of UP-PGH ER Department as volunteer, i just lasted for 2 weeks because i can't afford it anymore going to duty with your own expences and that time i got a job at HMO. Then last yr 2012 after i resigned at my job as sales associate and save money for my training I enrolled myself to various trainings. IVT, BLS hospital and redcross, ACLS, training from PNA and other paid training/seminars. I also participate in medical mission so that my resume will be up to date and full of trainings. Then October 2012 when i already have my basic trainings, I applied to various hospital in metro manila. I do the hospital hopping from North to South. Also I started participating to this blog which also help me determined hospital who's on hiring. Every thing paid off, i was contacted by 5 hospital. 2 for Rnheals, 3 for volunteers/training nurses at private hospital.I chose EAMC because it is a 600 bed capacity hospital and training will start as soon after new year. Tho, the salary is 8k i had my second thought wether i will pursue it or not due to that time i was contacted as medrep for unilab. It dwells me because 8k is beyond minimum salary for us living in the metro it will be costly and not enought to survived. My decision was made after I attend the orientation, I was thrilled how many new nurses will be part of RNheals 4, we are 400 that time. I made my realization that its not easy to apply on a hospital and God gave me the chance so I think i am for it. I also struggled when I'm applying to other hospital like i need to apply in 3 hospital in a day and also travelling from north to south just to send my application. And I really hate the "backer system" in public or private institution it really dismay me. As I started my work as nurse, i've learned that my knowledge is not enought. Everyday is a challenge as a nurse. So everyday is a new learning for me. Right now Im still struggling to my job because i dont know if I will be part of the hospital next year or not because i dont have a "backer". But that will not make me stop in pursuing my career as a nurse. As you enter the challenging work as a nurse, you will realise that working to care for patient is worth the work for. Also im planning to go Abroad, i need more years of experience before i commit myself working in other country. In God's perfect time, you will gonna be hired as a nurse. If today your not yet in there, work your ass out and do efforts. It,s not easy to be a nurse in this country. So work for it and surely everything will paid off. Godbless nurses.

RH Heals for 2014
Hi everyone! I'm part of RNheals batch 4 currently deployed in one of DOH tertiary hospital in QC. As per our HR, currently employed RNheals will be absorb by next year as contractuals or Nurse I. We already passed our requirements last September 2013 as it was a Hospital Order. October 2 was the deadline. I dont know if they are accepting new applicant because no post has been posted on the HR regarding the application for next yr. Also, half of the current RN heals will be eliminated and the rest will continue their employment at the hospital. We dont know yet if the 16k compensation without benefit will implement for contractuals. We are still waiting for the black and white for this matter. Im ending up my contract as Rnheals Batch 4 this coming december. Right now the HR are processing all the application made on its internal hiring. Like last year, 1st week of January will be the announcement of those lucky nurses who will get the spot for employment. Just a hint. If you are applying for a government hospital you should have a "BACKER" it will be your ticket in getting the post at a hospital. 90% of Rnheals in our hospital has a backer while the rest, 10% was just a lucky pick. As per community based nurse, you should Go to DOH for further details. But right now no black and white yet for this, we also given a memo on where province do you want to be deployed if you choose to be in community setting.

The Medical City 2013
Hi nurses. If your applying at TMC the HR will ask you to write your info on their log in sheet. Name, school, board rating, contact numbr. They don't accept resume. They will text those people who qualify for the schedule of exam. After exam there will be series of interviews. Then that's the time you will submit all the document required. As per how they qualify. For non backer - you need an extra ordinary board rating or you should have a hospital experience. Sometimes they pool those who had training in their special area like ICU which cost 10k. Lastly if you have backer inside the hospital that will be your ticket for fast application they are the one who will follow up your application. Yes? Still backer system. This is the reality but don't lose hope, still try if you really want to be in this hospital. According to my source (senior nurse at 7F) they deploying nurses to Guam because they will opening TMC Guam. Rate will be base on US. Also they have inside manpooling for US. additonal: last qualifying exam was held I think feb 21(im not sure) and the result day was feb 27. about the exam, i dont have idea about the composition. Hope this would help nurses.

See How a Philippine Senatorial Candidate Belittles the Nursing Profession
She doesn't have the right to seat on the senate. Working as a nurse is way exceptional, we work for our degree, work to be competent and work for our patient to save lives. As we enter our profession we faced the risk and engage to the hazardous work. To you camella owner, I dont think you are competent to serve our country with this kind of mentality. I should just vote those people who knows the reality of our country than just wasting for you. You dont know what's happening to our nurses! shame on you!
