Even though I know my program was highly over priced reading these threads makes me feel like I paid more than most people do. My program was $28,000 and I graduated in 2010. How much was your program and what year did you graduate?
I work with several great MAs. Their jobs are very important and I am not knocking it, especially since I used to be one. But a few of them tell me that they have the same education as an LPN the only difference is they can't give injections. I try ...

My test date was December 29th a few years ago and I passed. I know everyone pretty much answered your question but schools are also being measured on first time pass rates. It would throw everything off if people were being failed on purpose. Anyw...

I went to Stone. I feel the program was ok. Of course there are others who felt poorly about the program but if you make a real effort you will do fine! My only complaint was the tuition. It was very expensive compared to the state programs.
Does anyone have any tips on telling a patient that they were exposed to herpes? I feel that I am causing confusion when I call a patient these results.

I'm confused at the whole LPNs being saddened by their career choice statement. But just like you were offensive in this post (even though you may not have done it intentionally) it maybe a similar situation at your job. It sounds like you are a floo...

I'm not 100% positive but I was told that you can work as both and that's the reason why you have to also keep your RN license active when you're an NP.

Do they have lpn-bsn programs in your area? In my area they only have lpn-rn. If you want your BSN they make you start from scratch. If it's an option I say go for it. In my area they want nurses with BSNs
