VA Nurses Salary or Hourly?
your salary will always be there, it wouldn't change, however if you decide to pick up any extra hours you will be paid by hourly overtime pay( of whatever your yearly salary is)

Have you met your husband at nursing? Is nursing a good career to meet men?
Very special as far as friendships are concerned. Meeting a husband in nursing would be just a good as anywhere else....it just depends on the person

Which year do nursing students start their clinicals?
I'm in a small nursing program, ADN, and we are divided into groups based on prerequisites. For now all I know is that I will be graduating in 2014

How to study and handel the nerves and stress?
Hi , I'm only a week into my program also. My first test will be on Friday and it covers 2 chapters which are about 60 pages when added together. I'm not too stressed about it. Instead of taking detailed notes in class I followed the professor's lecture..OK I took minimal notes but most of my attention was on the lecture. Now home I am reading my chapters. I do not move to other sections until I fully understand the previous material. I know this way is timely but it is working. Good Luck, really

Do I tip an RN performing laser hair removal?
Yes, tip them well....haha, just kidding. I think it depends on the environment, tipping is usually done in spas and maybe advanced skin-care centers but not ''medi-spas''. In spas the techs, nurses, therapists are usually paid based on a commission of services performed so tipping is greatly appreciated. In ''medi-spas'' the staff is on contract or hourly paid, I do not think you(or anyone) will be expected to tip an hourly paid nurse, therapist, laser tech etc.... I could be wrong.
