I started last week and had 2 quizes on the first day of classs! This is week 2 and I have had 5 test and several quizes!! I have never studied this much in my entire life!! I KNOW I CAN DO THIS!! I have 2 tell my self this every day when I wake up @ 5 in the morning and not go to bed until 11 or 12 @ night

I am nervous, and excited!! I start on August 16!!

I got a 74 on teas test!! That was enough to get me into LPN program for the fall!!! :)

@funtimes I doubt youv'e meet every CNA, so how do you know they are all mean? Really??? Their are some nurses with BAD ATTITUES AND CNA'S WITH BAD ATTITUDES!! Thats LIFE !!! Maybe you need to ADJUST YOUR ATTITUDE FUNTIMES!!!!

People should not discriminate!! They should be glad to have caring people to take care of them or their family members. I have been in the nursing field long enough to know that their are good black nurses and good white nurses!! Color has nothing to do with CARE!! All i can say is they better hope that their nurse is there for MORE than just a PAY CHECK!!! Enough said!!

@minnymi I always encourage them to go to nursing school or do something that they enjoy (alot of them hate being a CNA). @ FUTURELPN2013 I hate you are going through this!! We will succeed and those haters will be our motivators!!! good luck for us!!!

Thank you for your input! I guess I expected them to be excited and happy for me as I WOULD if they were accepted!!

I am getting a lot of negative feed back from my fellow CNA co-workers. They congratulated me on getting accepted into the program but they are making comments like you think you better than us now. And certain ones are saying dont forget where you came from and I dont want to be a nurse! I hate to get into a argument with them but its getting on my nerves, I worked hard to get accepted into the program. I REALLY need some feedback as to how to handle the situation! I DIDNT EXPECT ALL OF THIS NEGATIVITY!!

Congrats Paige! I will be starting the LPN progran August 16, and I have no clue what to expect! I am nervous, and excited! I am a CNA as well so I hope that helps somewhat! I have been debating about buying a Nclex book however not really sure which to buy!
