  1. Congrats pumpkinfuturelpn!! Hopefully we can stay in touch while in school saying we'll be going thru this around the same time and share stories!! And I was a little overwhelmed looking at nclex review books as well but I went on google and searched "best nclex review books" and Kaplan was the first to come up because it is the 2012-2013 edition which I figured would be better cause it's the most up to date information, I've also heard a lot about the Saunders one as well.. My best advice is just go on Barnes and noble or amazon and read the reviews from people on each book that's what I did after I discovered Kaplan and the reviews were all 5 star! Hope all is well and good luck on your new adventure :)
  2. Thanks so much... I ordered a Kaplan nclex-pn review book and i still have 3 weeks till school starts so I'm just gonna skim thru that to get my brain prepared for all the stuff it's about to absorb over the next 12 months lol. Don't really have a social life as it is I'm always working lol so hopefully that won't be too much of an issue. Thanks for your insight!!
  3. Hi everyone my names Paige and I'm 21, I'm currently a CNA in connecticut and have been for the past 3 years I start LPN classes the 23rd of July (nervous) I'd just like to know if any of you have any tips or tricks that got/getting you thru. Also anything in particular I'll need? I know my school provides the basics like books, uniforms, watch, bp cuff etc but anything else work for any of you? I'd greatly appreciate any advice. Thanks so much
