"If you choose to do online live classroom review or go to live class review you will also have the ondemand 24 hrs video content ". The difference is that for the the live online class room it has a pre determined time slot that you must log on to participate and the live site is just that you go to a class room.. ondemand you can do anytime online but this option/ service is included to everyone after doing onsite or live online. good luck preparing.

I dislike ncsbn their questions are beyond comprehension and stupid at times just plain irrational and the rationales confusing but with the same token some questions are a gem as they teach you something you could had easily overlooked either way used it to your advantage their pharmacology is excellent and the price is reasonable . .

When I was in nursing school I noticed a pattern (imo)students who struggle. 1. work too many hours. 2. lack support , people tell you they support you but do they really? are you respected , are you given time to yourself to study etc. 3. Been all over the place. For me I had to concentrate for instance when I was in my second semester I failed a test omg i wanted to die but I assess why and implemented what I needed to do for that not to happened and it was a learning experience for once you should always trust your instincts. wish you the best. Do not give up if you believe you can do it. what's the worse that can happen . yes you can failed nursing school but at least you tried.

Thanks Esme12 Nurses should not get too comfortable in our knowledge, we should strive to continue educating ourselves. This was actually one of the top ten list my instructor said during our graduation last year. Another one in her top ten list was for nurses to be humble. I agree clinical failure is a death wish. When I was in school luckily I graduate last year yeey . Those that failed clinical was particularly due to been unsafe especially during medication administration ,bed high postion, rails down etc etc. However if she told you that you need improvement and she is willing to help you then go for it dont give up , only you know what she really told you. Do not dowside it . If she believes your unsafe I doubt she will pass you and if she does then the professor in the upcoming semester may fail you if they do not see improvements but as I am writing this I remember. oops let's get down to reality Nursing instructors rarely failed students who have A's in theory unless is something serious. I saw so many students that if It was me I would failed but like everything nursing schools have numbers to put out, money to collect. becoming a good nurse is you responsibility, just apply yourself and work hard . Nursing schools teach the basics , theory , clinical but excellent nurses and made on the floor excellent nurses are those that applied themselves in clinical rotations when they were in school.

What do you think you could had done to keep him alive? this question is not mean for you to answer but mostly for you to assess your feelings on end of life issues. It is just like saying if I have done something different the outcome will be ..sososo what is meant to be will be. When is time for patients or when is our time to pass away interventions whether pharmacological , or even invasive procedures are just temporary fixes. IMO speaking with your instructor may even make you appear as if you did do something wrong if you need to speak because you need closure then go ahead and as someone else stated read Kubler- Ross book on death and dying this should had already been introduce to you in the beginning of nursing school. Also when you take report on a patient who is unstable to desat to low 60 is critical . What meds is he on Medications gives you a overview into their disease process is he taking Dig, BB, d/x heart failure is he DNR, DNI. I hope I am not being judgmental I just want you to understand death is part of life and as someone previously mention this is a special part that makes nurses unique as sometimes we are the last person a patient sees before they take their last breath. I would recommend if your school provides a clinical rotation to a hospice hospital go and do it do not deny the dying or have a negative view of death feeling guilty or feeling that healthcare providers must intervene to try to prolong life for the sake of the living is not been compassionate . I haven't seen Daddy Day care . You are completely correct but you keep mentioning child abuse their are many spectrum of child abuse physical v/s sexual. most woman that do abuse is physical but I am not an expert I do not have the facts or the statistics , with women you got to worry about postpartum depression and the extreme of that is women who kill their children. You do not have men that undergo postpartum depression but you do have men that sexually abuse their children. The extreme the Australian man a few years ago that raped his daughter imprisoned her and fathered 4 children with her. You are what you want to be. For you as a male you have to prove yourself but you know what.. with that same token use it for your advantage to become the best nurse you can be. If they shunt you out of L&D your not missing much when I did my L&D rotation the nurses where so nasty to the patient . I wish they had shunted me out , I was literally disgusted with how they treated her , she was crowning and the nurses where telling her to shut up! shut!! and all she kept saying is sorry. When you do your rotation your going to get a few of what type of nurse you want to be. find your bliss and you'll be fine.

As to religious institutions they all run on their own standard and regulations . You should not feel discriminated if it protects children that is what is important. Did they do a background check on you. just because a background checks come clean does not mean your not sexually deviant. Statistically most children that are sexually abused are by someone they know family member, friend , whomever close relative. As far as you rationalizing that woman are also abusers you are completely right but the percentage of woman that do abuse cannot compare to the percentage of men that are physical abusers, sexual and/or pedophile. take a look at all those priest that abuse young boys and they made an oath to god they are actually god's representatives on earth. what they all have in common is they are all men. I have been discriminated before and I'm a female. As a female you always got to worry about am I going to get sexually abuse am I going to get raped , am I going to get assaulted, am I going to get blamed if I happen to have tight jeans , are they going to state I provoked the abuser. I don't have children yet but when I do I'm sorry if you get offended whether your a friend, a volunteer , family member uncle w.e if is to protect my child that is what is most important to me.
