I'm a prospected student as well whom is from the tri-county area. Do know that ANHO is one of the best private schools in the area right now! There pass rate is higher than some of that community colleges for a few years now. That's a major factor! I know many who are currently attending this program. It's no walk in the park, but do know upon completion you will pass your board. Based on all that I know, not what I heard, I also will be attending here. Hopefully next year is my goal! I've been inquiring and called today......sadly the bridge program is no longer 1yr but now 2. That's no bridge! Still interested though due to the minimum requirements, no wait, and I hear they do prepare you to pass.

Hello OP I'm in the Treasure Coast. Jacksonville is a huge city with plenty opportunity. I'm sure there's some companies that hire with minimum experience. You just have to put yourself out there. Although the ad says experience.....still apply. Best of luck!

The Commuter.......even rewind years in the past I enjoy anything you've written and write! Always so on point and this one is exactly me, also. And just as expected people always try to convince me different but even after they exhaust all thier good excuses why......I still say I have no desire to work in a hospital. I aspire you The Commuter!

Very broad question...... many counties to consider. I can only speak for a few.....yes.

That sounds just about right and not bad. I'm new and five months into this nursing/rehabilitation facility and it normally that's me about that time. Sometimes a lil more or less depending on how many interruption I have. Mostly 17-22 patients.

Condolences to everyone involved! Prayers and hugs to all! The question of how you'll get through is only possible by God's grace and love! All and only are things possible through Him and He knows best! Many say you'll get over it with time but we never do....things will always be different but we find ways to carry on. Be blessed!

Any other experiences out there? Looking into to schools for my RN, this being one and ANHO, both in the Palm Beach area. Currently living in PSL.......wish we had more options here.

13miles one way, 30-40min. I don't like it but am getting use to it. I wouldn't want to do more than this.

This is with 3 cna at all times.

Currently working in a nursing home and I have an assigned hall which is capable of holding 26 residents. Most I had in my short time there is 22 patients. I work the day shift, it hasn't been that bad.

You're already counting yourself out before the results are in! I've always thought positive thoughts bring on postive out come. If you studied like you say.....let things play out. If you've been on yhis site awhile you've probably read that the worst you felt coming out the better the outcome! Keep the faith and try to stay positive! Yall kills me......the doubt and negative vibes are what helps open the doors to failure!

Thanks awesome read and reminder of how the caring never ends! I'm now home and just called back to work to check and see if my resident is still hanging in there....even after a horrible day. Who comforts the comforter when the comforter needs to be comforted!
