  1. yeah there were plenty of physiology questions on a&p. For math I practice a lot of fractions and got a 96%.
  2. I agree with lucerebe, it was pretty easy. For math know fractions and a&p know a little about everything. Good luck!
  3. Cool physics and computers lol :) Good luck!
  4. Nope, they don't ask anything like that. It is pretty broad since they only ask 30 questions out of a year's worth of anatomy. Crazy, isn't it? Don't worry about the details, just know the big picture of each system. Good luck!
  5. They are very similiar as far as the amount of fraction and decimal questions. The only thing is, in my city, they don't let us use calculators.
  6. Same here. Failed it the first time, but got an 88.8% this time. :)
  7. Hi LadyDe! It's hard to get into nursing school because there is also a shortage in nursing educators. =\ The HESI is pretty easy especially reading and grammar. For math just practice how to add, multiply, divide, and substract fractions. Also memorize measurement conversions like cups to ounces or cups to pints, etc. There is a tutor on craigslist who does math tutoring specifically for the HESI A2. For a&p it's a little trickier but if you recently took those classes you will be fine! For me it has been over a semester, so I bought a guide at and scored a 88% . Without I would have FAILED the a&p section. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have other questions. Good luck!
  8. I scored a 900 on the Critical Thinking...my rule is the nurse will always go to the patient who is closest to death First. Also, follow ABCs of nursing importance: airway, blood, and I think circulation.
  9. Hey, well most of the HESI questions are really easy! The only tricky one would be a&p but if you took it very recently then you should do fine in that section. ...Also for math, Mike is right. Loads of fractions and decimals, I just bought 5th grade math workbook and practice on that, but you can find practice problems for fractions online too. Good luck! Let us know how it goes!!
  10. That's really good! My overall score was 92% with an 88.8% on a&p. I used a guide for a&p review and bought a 5th grade fraction workbook for math, and scored a 96% on math! :)
  11. I suggest you buy a 5th or 6th fraction workbook at a teacher store and it will help so much.
  12. Hey guys! I know what you mean about the a&p section, I got a 64, the second time, and an 80% the second time. I think version two is harder and has more physiology. Let me know if you need anymore help!
  13. Nique281, the math, grammar, and reading are pretty easy. The a&p you have to know a little about everything. I finally passed on version 2.
  14. The vocab is mostly general knowledge. You either know it or you don't. There are millions of english words, so I'm now sure how to study for that. Some say the elsevier guide has half of the words on the test. For math it's mostly +,-,x,/ fractions, and simple world problems.
  15. Math is mostly fractions. The a&p section you definitely need to know a little about everything. good luck!
