I Got Accepted into FNU Class 110!!!
Congratulations MystyqueOne !! Good luck to everyone else that is waiting for acceptance letters from Frontier. I've been interested in Frontier for some time now. I'm interested in the FNP track and have finally made up my mind to apply for the Class of 118. I'm about to start getting my application ready to submit. For people that have been accepted to Frontier, is there any advice that you would give about the application process? Is there anything that can make my application stand out from others? I'm excited about the possibility of going to such a great school (from what I've heard).

NCLEX is over!
Congrats!!! I got the good pop up today after 75 questions! It's such a relief for it to be over and I will really be excited when I see my name on the BON. I can't really celebrate until it's there. Definitely wouldn't want to relive that monster. One time was enough for me! :)

Did I just pass the NCLEX??
OMG that's EXACTLY how I feel!! You could have wrote this post with my name attached. I was praying the whole time that my test would shut off at 75 because I don't know if I could have done any more. The test was all over the place and the SATA was ridiculous. It was definitely not an easy test. Hopefully I will see my name on the BON website soon! Congrats RN!!! :)

NCLEX TOMORROW ... EEK!
Well after 75 questions and a whole lot of nerves I got the good pop up!!!!!! I'm beyond happy right now. I can't wait until I get the official results so that I can really celebrate. I can say that everything allnurses said about the NCLEX was true. I was a ball of nerves once I started the test because the questions were coming from no where!! They were very random. I got about 20 SATA, 1 drag and drop, 2 calculations, priority questions and some delegatin. I think I prepared well but honestly it was like nothing I have ever done before. It was pretty difficult but doable. I was so happy when it shut off at 75!! Thanks for everyone's support and encouragement. I hope to see my name and license number on the BON soon. :)

NCLEX TOMORROW ... EEK!
Congrats!! I hope that is me soon. I take mine this morning and am a bundle of nerves. I haven't been nervous but for some reason I'm starting to have butterflies and thoughts about what the test will be like. I'm going to look over my notes for one last time and then get on the road and head to the site. Good luck to all test takers today!!

NCLEX TOMORROW ... EEK!
Good luck to you. Just pray and have faith that WE CAN get through this. All the knowledge is in our brain we just have to apply it. I don't feel like studying today but I know I will eventually look over my notes. I'm just ready for it to be over.

NCLEX TOMORROW ... EEK!
OMG I really can't believe it's almost time for me to sit for the most important test of my life. I haven't really been nervous up until this point. I'm starting to get butterflies in my stomach but I'm so ready to get the test over with. I'm kinda at the point where I feel like no amount of studying will help, I either know it or I don't. I've been using Kaplan for studying and I think I've been doing pretty well. I got a 63% on QTrainer 6 and 61% on QTrainer 7 and according to Kaplan that's a good sign. I'm planning on doing some focused assessments today in order to review a little more, look over the Allnurses study guide, infection control and lab values before I put everything away. To all my fellow test takers I wish you good luck! We can do this! Any last minute tips or words of encouragement would be sooooooo helpful!!!

NCLEX on Tuesday......freaking out!
I'm also taking mine on Tuesday at 12:30. I'm slightly nervous but at this point I'm like I either know it or I don't. I'm actually ready to get it over with because I'm so exhausted from hours of studying. I pray that I pass so that I can wear that RN badge. I'm praying that all upcoming test takers pass! We can do this!!!!

NCLEX RN today, shut off 75 q's & the "good popup"
That's great! Congrats! I hope to feel the exact same way this time next week. I take my exam next Tuesday and I'm getting more anxious the closer it gets. I feel fairly confident, but I still have little butterflies in my stomach. I hope everything goes well. Again congrats and enjoy being a RN!

In your opinion, how difficult are NCLEX SATA questions?
Out of those did you find them hard or doable? Ant suggestions on how to approach those types of questions?

In your opinion, how difficult are NCLEX SATA questions?
I'm taking my test in a week and I feel the exact same way as the OP. I have been studying Kaplan and have been doing pretty decent. I have made a 63% on QTrainer 6 and a 61% on QTrainer 7, which is said to be very good. I'm just so nervous about the SATA questions. I haven't had a chance to practice them much since Kaplan only has a few of them and all throughout school I SUCKED at them. I just don't want to fail the test because I don't know how to answer SATA questions. I get so nervous when I hear people say that they got over 20 SATA questions. Any other suggestions? Hopefully they will be among the 15 test questions that don't count on the NCLEX!

NCLEX RN ON JUNE 1
Where is that study guide located?
-
30 SATA on NCLEX
Is there anyway that I can study or practice the SATA without having to pay for a book or class?

Kaplan test prep worked for me
I'm using Kaplan now and find the videos very helpful. I'm planning on taking the exam in the next 4-5 weeks even though I haven't set an official date yet because I haven't received my ATT. How did you study everyday? I'm doing about 50 questions per day now. I don't want to feel overwhelmed and if I do more than that I feel like my brain is about to crazy. I don't want to go back through my saunders book to look at all the content, so do you think the Kaplan content review videos would be enough? Especially for the areas that I'm having problems with? How do you know how much of the Qbank you have done? For some reason I can't find that. I've done two the first one I got 57% and the second one 65%. Any advice would let TONS!! Thanks!

2nd attempt on Tuesday
eeyorelove can you please send me your materials too? I'm preparing to take the NCLEX within the next month and I'm really stuck on what all to study. Maybe your notes will help me focus more. Thanks! email: [email protected]

Kaplan ... Getting ready for NCLEX
Hello All, I just started studying for the NCLEX yesterday. I said that I would start off by doing 50 questions from Kaplan a day and read all rationales. I would also look up content that I forgot or was unfamiliar with in my Saunders book. As I started reading I starting feeling very fatigued and not really up for all the studying. I made a 52% on my first Qtrainer. I've made a 57% on the first set of Qbank questions and a 65% on the second set. Has anyone used the content videos for studying? I'm finding them to be way more helpful then reading book after book. Since I just graduated a week ago, I'm feeling very overwhelmed and don't really know what I'm doing with myself. I don't know if I'm doing the right thing or even getting myself ready for this test. I wasn't really nervous about taking the NCLEX until I took the Kaplan review course. I made me start second guessing myself. I'm trying to schedule the NCLEX within the next month so I can go ahead and start my job. Please, any advice that you all can offer will be of great help! I just need a clear plan that want leave me feeling burnt out at the end of the day.
