  1. you can google CNA sample resume template
  2. well if I was in RN school or even in LPN school I would prob start with a classic II SE for school and than after I knew how to use a one two sided chest piece and can tell the difference from sounds I would but the Master Cardiology
  3. you dont think getting the master classic 2 for more hearing and comfort of your eyes is over kill for my area
  4. ok, I am trying to choose; most because the ambient noise part
  5. arnt the krokoff sounds low picthed
  6. hey I finally passed my CNA exam, but I didnt recive my papers, so I am waiting on that; its only been like a week and a half almost 2. As far as a stethoscope what would you use, can u vote what you would use Littmann Classic II SE(noisy at a LTC or hospital) Master classic II(same reason above and smaller) and softer ear buds for both or a regular double lumen tubing, with i believe plastic ear pieces so they do hurt. Much appreciated
  7. being nervous is one of your biggest enemy when it comes to big exams like this, so shake thos combwebs and another thing never cram it never works;study months to weeks in advance if you can, but yes skills is the harest part and where most ppl goof up. To me MY skill validation was at my school and not at a test site so I got lucky, and the test I failed my first time, but re took it 2 months later and passed, dont realli know why I waited so long.
  8. well when we went to the exam site, they said it would be on the nurse registry with in 48 hrs and about 2 weeks for all the paper wheter you passed or not. For me I failed the first time but retook it 2 months later, ask me why, i dont knw myself but after the 2nd time I passed and I am proud I did decide to retake it. plus I can go back to my teacher's class with knowing I passed; I dont know if she knew I passed.
  9. hey Magelan have you gone to the campus in glendale heights campus, and I want to phelbotmy but later I wanna do EKG tech; do I need to take the phelbotmy class there in order to take the EKG tech
  10. 2nd shift, somtimes they will pay you as much as night pay, somtimes not
  11. thx i guess this is great to prep up for my exam in 1 month
  12. do I need this certifcation as a PCT at a hospital?
  13. so after I get it all and i go for aPCT postion at a hospital would I need to get another certification
  14. so what test would I atcually take after I got CNA certif, phelbotmy certi, and EKG certi than what test would I take next
  15. what is the NHA test?
  16. the PCT exam isn't that for dialysis or somthing which i am going to go to school for dialysis
  17. i see there is a PCT national certification test I need to take, how can you study for that test?
  18. well keep water on the side handly to take a sip here and there to keep hydrated, good shoes would be a good idea, and snacks to keep your energy up i am sure you will havve more than 1 break(maybe even 3) on top of your lunch
  19. some classes will actually supply u with one (cheap one) some wont, either way I think its well worth your time and money to invest in your own one. a watch is a important thing and most programs will say u need to have one, I would buy one just to have an excuse to wear one, I bought a 65 dollar watch but it weights like 1 pounds(not to much) well your going to need a pen and small notebook to take notes(vital signs, intake and output, etc) transfer belt depending what is your policy that your going do your rotations in, myself I bought myself a scrub jacket for somewhere to keep my stethoscope in, even though I was sweating like a pig up stairs where all the dementia residents are. but good luck with with what you got
  20. my test that i took in class i was an above avrege student and i heard from my teacher that the CNA exam was easier than the test we took in class and are finals is supposely harder than the finals, so i am not worryed about it
  21. i took mine at JC and mine, well I choose 5/12 weeks for 4 hrs a day 4 days a week and the last 5 weekends where 8 hr clincals
  22. hey this is not about the LPN program, but it is about CMK. I graduated from a CNA class at harper college and want to be a PCT should I get the EKG certi and the phelbotmy certication at a separate time or pay for a PCT traning at CMK
  23. can someone tell me which one is the better of the two schools?
  24. dose anyone know how much is the dialysis program and dose the dialysis program need to be accredited?
  25. well i am going for dialysis too, i am going to the sanford brown skokie campus for 15k and i think its 50 weeks no review for the state exam tho could(yes a private school) how long is jetros program?
