Hi, did you get paid for orientation? I am a knew grad and I was offered a job at a nursing home with a $36 and hours salary, but they want to pay me an Lpn rate of $22 an ours for the firtst 3 months ( this includes orientation and training etc..) is this normal dont most places give full salary for orientation too? thanks!

had my interview today with the floor manager today. after the interview she gave me a tour of the floor. Does this me that she wants to hire me? also It was suppose to be for a day shift, but she asked me if I would do a night shift to "get a foot in the door" i dont think i could handle nights as i am not a night person and i have a young family..!!??? Help!!

The pearson popup works within minutes of finishing the nclex. I hope that its really true !!!! still abit nervous till i see the official resutls!

hi i took it yesterday and i got the good pop up too! I used kaplans and it is very simular. If you get above a 60 on trainers 6 &7 and do well on the readiness you'll be fine! good luck!

I used the Kaplan course with the online q bank and Question trainers. I think that it is a great tool and all you need, especially because they tell you based on your performance when you are ready to test. good luck!

Hi, just wanted to share. I took it yesterdya . Shut off at 118! lots of SATA, I did the pearson trick about 15minutes after the exam and I got the good pop up!

Took the nclex exam today!!! Had 118 qu's. I was so shocked when it shut off! As soon as I finished the test I called my brother to log into pearson site and i found out within minutes that I had the good pop up!!! Yay!!! I am flipping out! It's a miracle! Thank G-D a million times over! More guy power coming to nursing! Cant wait to get the official results but I am psyched and relieved.

congrats! taking mine this week! flipping out! how did you prepare? was it very tough? i am using kaplans, but i am very nervous. I feel like there is so much that i dont know ! any general helpful recommendation please?
