New Grad starting Oncology
You have to show confidence in what you are taking about and do some research about the hospital. Go with a list of questions to ask the nurse manager and make sure to reheorifice the interview with someone else. Be prepared and it doesn't hurt to take a letter of recommendation from a previous nursing professor to give to the nurse manager. Good luck!!

Questions for New Grads
1. When did you graduate? May 2010 2. Do you have a BSN or ADN? ADN and will start working toward BSN next year 3. Are you still looking for work? No 4. If not, how long did it take you to find a job? Passed NCLEX in July and will start work mid September 5. If you don't mind my asking, those who are working, what type of job or floor do you work on. HELP! Failed NCLEX-RN Exam twice!
Olena, Google in Prentice Hall's NCLEX-RN by Mary Ann Hogan (Pearson Vue) and there will be several websites where you can buy the CD. The one I have has over 5000 questions on it and I made myself practice about 200 questions a day before I took the NCLEX. Good Luck and keep me posted!

Failed the NCLEX twice:(
I used the Pearson Vue CD (questions and rationales).....it really helped. Over 5000 questions on it and it's the same company that writes the NCLEX. Kaplan is too expensive and don't waste your money on ATI. Good luck!

HELP! Failed NCLEX-RN Exam twice!
Taking the NCLEX is about the hardest thing that I have ever taken in my whole life!! I had a GREAT classmate that gave me a copy of NCLEX review questions (from a CD) that helped me pass. It is by Pearson Vue (the same company that writes the NCLEX) and almost everyone from my graduating class studied with it and passed. Our pass rate on the NCLEX-RN was 99% this year and I can say that studying with the Pearson Vue questions helped me. It gave questions and rationales and it is similar to the questions that the NCLEX were asking. Good Luck you guys and keep your chin up! Stay positive and PM me if you have more questions.
