Its true nclex is partly about luck because there are some people like me who had taken the NCLEX and it turns out i know all the question that the computer gave me. But your chance is still high if you study hard. Here's my advice. Spiderman pneumonics (infection control precaution), la charity 2010, davis 2010, know your meds like dopamine and the basics computation. Good luck! Last advice if you pass dont celebrate yet, save it when you get a job :) because its freaking hard to find one :)

Nurses in the Philippines are paid so low. Now a days they start by being a volunteer for 6 months and then when you are hired you are paid around 5000-10000 pesos which is around $100-200. If you have years of experience like seniors who are experienced with icu/or/etc any specialty around 10000-20000 which is $200-400. By reading this you will get the reason why. Also in the Philippines we dont have our own CNA so nurses there do everything. I'm a Filipino but I cant blame you for asking the question if i was a canadian I would have ask the same thing. Edit: the salary I was talking about is monthly :)

Took my nclex and passed last Dec 15 its been like 18 days since then im really bored. I have a Caregiver job that pays 17 per hour but its boring so i decided to go to Military instead. So is it Navy Nurse OR Air Force Nurse? Please Help me decided which is better because tomorrow i will call a recruiter and get it done. Being in the military is my dream so at least its Nurse+Military

I need some advise on what are the things i should study. I recently passed NCLEX and is now applying in a LTC facility. Any list of common drugs that i should study? procedures? I want to be prepared when I get a Job because I always hear negative things about LTC facility. I dont want to go to war equipped with nothing:D Thanks for the help!

your missing something when you havent tried la charity. You noticed the exam is full of prioritization so my advice to you use la charity and for sure you will pass.. good luck

Pacey have you tried self study with la charity, davis, kaplan all 2010 books and gapuz abc... those books helped me with my exam 1 take 75 items and i graduated 3.5 years ago

You will not get the technique when you do that.... its still better to test yourself especially with la charity and davis... i took it i take and self study w/ 75 items answering question helped me..

Its been 3 years since I graduated im a foreign student so i had rusted a little bit because its been 3 years. Im not really that good during school days I never expected that I will pass NCLEX without even having a sweat during the exam. I passed with 75 questions for 1:20 mins. For the people out there who is taking it soon its not really that hard (this relax you a little i hope ). The nclex choices can be easily narrowed to 2 (i cant mention specific question because we are not allowed too but i can mention broad topics) Just like what others are always saying study Prioritization- a must, Infection control- a must, delegation, meds, computations- i consider this a bonus stage item because it was hella easy study your mcg/kg/min. What I used. Usefulness inorder La Charity delegation I used it twice, DAVIS Q and A book and cd, Gapuz ABC, RANDOM facts in this site, kaplan Take note: the exam was easy for me because i study everyday atleast 100 questions per day I also study at work with my cellphone so if you're not studying it will be hard for you. The exam is about how trained you are in answering the question just like in a game now a days you level up:yeah: so if you just did like a 500-1000 question your level is like 5 or if you did like 4000 level 20. It increases your chances of passing high. Good luck everyone! Your next to experience this!

I cant pm yet jayson. I did the book then repeated it again in the cd, la charity, kaplan, gapuz abc, self study. The exam is not what others say it is some say question are like chinese but its not it was easy to narrow it down to 2... sata are easily distinguish because its usually the opposite and the bonus round is the computation : )

How do you check result in bon? Is that verification where you put your surname then find? I got good pop up at sf

@TINKERBELLE still good pop up whew im still worried too bad there is no quick result in california i want to know asap... i was not stressed because nobody knew that im taking my nclex exam i only told them that i havent received my ATT but the reality i got it like a month ago.. i want to surprise them this christmas... @jasonjason it helped like 30% with how you answer the question... i dont want to go into details yet because its not yet confirmed once it is confirmed ill give my advice.. it stopped at 75 question after 1 hour and 20 minutes

Interim permit requires you 2 pay i think 35$ not sure... u have 45 days but once you take nclex and failed its no longer valid
