What is the difference between an LPN and a Licensed Practical PRN Nurse and an RN and a Registered PRN nurse? What does the PRN mean? Thanks

I passed NC1 today with a B! I'm pleased with that. Sometimes the answer sticks right out and other times you're trying to decide between 2 or 3 answers...of course that's with any test! It feels good to have the 1st test over with! Now onto NC3!

I think there were 7 of us the date I tested. Everyone was still there on Sunday. Another girl and I were out by around 9:30ish, so I'm not really sure who ended up passing, except the 2 of us.

Now you have the ridiculous wait for the CPNE. You could still get done a little sooner or about the same time you would have with a traditional school though.

That really stinks! As if things aren't expensive enough! The only thing I can suggest is to pay for any exams that you can before July 1st. I know...easier said then done. Especially since that's only 5 days away!

Not really sure what that means. But it's normally 48 hours before it would be posted on the BON's website. I guess it depends on the state though. You might want to call them. I don't know if they will tell you anything though.

I didn't like it. It was extremely boring. Kinda hard to believe for a nursing job. I was an LPN at the time and on the floor I was on, I was more or a less a CNA. I don't mind giving baths and such, but I was lucky if I passed meds once a month....

I worked for the VA for a very short time. I'm pretty sure it's 3 years you have to give them.
