  1. Thank you so much for sharing!
  2. Thank so much for posting this link. Very helpful! Do u still have the tablets? Would love to take a peek;)
  3. Hi Michelle! So how's your classes? Feel free to inbox me if you like. Happy studying:)
  4. IDK. I guess b/c I had so many classes outside of the required ones for the associate degree that it played a part. I was finishing up a general degree around that same time I was placed on the ready list and it just worked out that way.
  5. Mine of 6 years wasn't strong enough either. My ex cheated on me with his ex who cheated on him! Ain't that a kick in the head! But hey, that's life. *in my Frank Sinatra voice*. "I just pick myself up and get back in the race".

I know how you feel. I'm taking anatomy and physiology this semester. Last week I took my first lecture and lab exam. I "studied my buns off"! I know the stucture of the heart and vessels very well. I've been waiting my grade still Wednesday and was expecting an A, nothing less than a B, because the material that was on the exam, thankfully, was exactly what I'd been studying! Finally, the prof entered our grades on blackboard, mine a failing one! WT heck! I'm totally freaking out right now! The only thing I can think of is that either he took points from me for writing the full work "vein" and/or "artery", for example, instead of just writing "v." or "a.". I know my spelling isn't perfect but it's not that bad either (I may be off by a letter or two in which he said is ok). Plus, I practiced spelling those words so I knew how to spell over 95% of them. Without a shadow of doubt, I know that material fully! So I'm really feeling punked too.
  7. The facility where I work have changed supplies to a cheaper and less effective brand. They have also increased our lunch break time from 30 minutes per 8 hour shift to 45 minutes per 8 hour shift (when census is below 75%). They are also decreasing the number or aides on the floor from 4 to 3. So, yes, I sincerely believe that patient care will be effected...
  8. I'm a student at GRCC for the ADN program. I'm due to start my clinicals in Jan 2012 after being on the waiting about 18 months.
  9. Thanks for the input, I sincerely appreicate it. No, I haven't finished all my pre-nursing classes yet but I'm scheduled to take my last one this fall (BI 122). Have you taken your start board yet?
  10. @ Y.not.ask, congratulations on finishing the program! I'm so happy for you! I can't wait until I can say that *smiles* I'm starting my clinicals for the RN program in January at GRCC and I so excited and scared at the same time. So tell me how your clinicals was when you first started. How was your experience with your professors? Do you feel that working a part-time job plus clinicals is too much? Did a lot of students drop out? What was the most challenging part of the entire clinical experience? What should I focus on? I'm sorry for asking so many questions, but its so much about clinicals that I curious about so whatever pearls of wisdom that you can share with us will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
  11. Hi Michelle, I hope your clinicals are going fine so far. I am also a GRCC student but I'm starting my clinical Winter 2012. I would love to hear some of your experiences so far...
  12. Thanks for adding the videos, they're very interesting :)
  13. Can you also PM me your message too? I'm facing this same dilemma.
  14. Thanks for posting the link to this test
