  1. Never been to Kansas City, but my guess would be that it would be a better environment to raise children in. I spent 7 years in the Phoenix suburbs and both my daughters were born there. I loved it and wasnt ready to return to the PNW, but our situation changed and it was our best option. I did however, know that I did not want to raise my children there. Too much concrete sprawl...and the school systems had their issues. I have always felt that the midwest would hold a simpler and kinder lifestyle...... I do miss those warm days floating in the pool at the house that we could never afford here where we are now!!!

Well I passed it! Next time time my renewal is due....I will have the CEs instead of retesting. Too much stress! PASS CCRN was a good resource. The CD with practice questions was great. I ended up taking study tests in each body system individually after the initial one that gave me a breakdown of percentages answered right per system. I did not use the book much though.....
  3. .....I am taking it in the morning.....I have had my CCRN since 92 and have always had to retest for renewal r/t not having enough CEs..... They have changed the test this summer. Only 150 questions now....this could be good or bad. I recommend going to Amazon.com, you will find reviews of the various study guides.... I think I am using "Pass CCRN' also......

There are so many types of lenses out there these days. There are ones especially for astigmatism and also for dry eyes..... A good doc will try you out on various lenses to find the most comfortable ones for your situation. You might need one type for the right eye and another type for the left eye and so on. There is no reason these days for lenses to be uncomfortable once you get used to them. I use weekly disposables which are very thin and comfortable. The longer you wear lenses the more minerals that build up on them which can make them feel bumpy and uncomfortable.....
