My classes transferred. Every single class! I just started in August I believe there are 9 nursing courses that I need. I'm taking 4 now and 4 in the spring. 1 in the summer. I will graduate August 2014 with the BSN. I went to the Community College of Philadelphia.

I did the Kaplan inclass review. I would definitely say it helped (if I passed lol). The screen looks exactly the same as close as they can get it without copyright issues. The questions are similar. I would highly recommend it the strategies Kaplan gives are awesome.

That's awesome. I am getting the good pop up but I'm sooo scared I felt like I knew nothing on the test. There were few questions that I was for sure for sure. I got a lot of SATA.

I did only Kaplan. The whole qbank 1300 questions and only 5 question trainers of 7.

Hello, I took NCLEX today and I really don't feel confident about it. I did get 75 questions and I keep getting the "good pop up". Has anyone ever failed and still got the good "pop up"?

Worth a try yes. Do you have a BSN. Many hospitals in Phila are looking for that. To start there are Hosp. Of the University Penn., CHOP, Jefferson, Einstein, Temple, St. Christopher's. Outside of Phila but great places to work... Any Main Line Health Hosp.

I say try to get the money some way if you can borrow it from family maybe and explain that they are investing in your future. I agree it's better to have a face to face interview. When you get there be sure to bring up the fact that you traveled 900 miles bc you are just that interested in this hospital and you really believe in what they are trying to do. I think a 900 mile travel for an interview should definitely earn you brownie points:(

Try the health insurance companies for Case Manager positions and positions where nurses and doctors work together to approve medically necessary positions. Nurses working in Health insurance make a great deal of money!

Wow! Looks like we've all had a very long road. I'm done May 2013 and I can't wait! I hope I can remember everything!!!

So this is my last year and I'm nervous as hell! Hoping I remember everything I've already learned. Anyone else have that fear? On a lighter and happier note hooray for us Seniors. We're almost done!

It will all be familiar to you once you get to class. Use that book to help you study once you have had the lectures.

Don't be discouraged! May I ask what your TEAS score was? Just retake it and reapply aim for at least a 70% most schools would like to see 70% or higher with particular focus on the algebra. I think you have another shot at Rox though just retake it and stay encouraged.

You should be fine just study hard make sure you get those As. Also, when you get ur midterm grades send them into Patti and she will take them into consideration. Trust me! You might be contengently accepted until ur final grades. Patti is very understanding! Good luck! She did some meditation with a few of us earlier today lol

Melanie you still have a chance. How did you do on the Algebra portion? As long as you did ok on that and you bring that GPA up this semester you should be ok. How many classes and what classes are you taking? I think it's a 2.75 you need to get in. Can't remember.

Yes in my program we have to volunteer on Martin Luther King day for 6 hours. Most school make you do something but its for ur own benefit when applying for scholarships and even jobs when you graduate. My school also volunteers at a nearby HIV/AIDS house we make breakfast on the weekends and holidays we cook for them. That is strictly open to anyone who would like to but our student governments organizes it and is required to participate.
