  1. Paid $10,500 for 11 mo. LPN Course in Ohio. If you have Career or Vocational Schools around you - check into those.
  2. Good Luck to you!
  3. I live in NE Ohio also and will be grad. in July. I am headed to the Solon/Beachwood/Cleveland area. I want to wish you luck on your job adventures.
  4. I am hoping to be a PROUD LPN in July!
  5. I know how you feel! We have an instructor that is know to see how many she can fail. GOOD LUCK!!!!
  6. Wishing you the best of Luck!
  7. I have a pilonidal cyst. Had it since I was 18 years old. I have had to have it cut open 3 times and it drained. The doctor would pack the opening to let it drain. It is very painful, I do know that but the Dr. told me there is no guarantee that if I received the surgery it wouldn't come back. So I take my chances. I am 40 now and have had 3 kids. No full blow surgery as of yet! I know a couple other people that have the same condition and only had to have it lanced open once. So it all depends on the person! Everyone is different. I would suggest having it lanced first and see how you do. Then decided for yourself if you want the surgery! Good luck! I feel for you......
  8. Good Luck! I am also in the same boat! The plant I was a Production Supervisor and they closed the doors. So now I decided to return to school after being out 22 years. We already had a 3 week dosage calculation math course before starting school. First day of class is August 10th. I have 3 kids and I hope to set an example to them that schooling is very important! They see me studying and can't believe how much there is. I wish you the best of luck through out these next months! Take care!
  9. I am in NE Ohio and had to take the work keys test to get into the LPN program at the TCTC. The school offered a website that you could go to and practice the questions. It helped many of my friends out. I will try to find out the website and get back with you. You can also go to Testpreview.com and they have tests that you can practice on also. Just take a couple deep breaths before taking it and you will do fine. Just know your math and reading skills. It is timed and you must answer so many correct. DO NOT LEAVE ANY EMPTY even if you have to guess! I wish you the best - but you will do fine!:)
  10. At the school I am attending the total is $10,400. This includes all nurse skills kits, 3 uniforms, shoes, lab jacket, books, tuition, i-pod touch with nursing software, all fees for testing, Fingerprinting, FBI check etc.... This is a 11 month course. Other friends of mine are attending other schools in this area paying $22,000, $17,000 & one at 9,000. But none of those include the tests, nursing software, uniforms. So I would say I was pretty lucky.
