how about this, when your kids school nurse calls and of course you are studying and ask you to pick up your child because they dont "feel well". and you start drilling the nurse. Is she throwing up? Does she have diareah? Does she have a temp? Are there visible bumps? NO, then let her goback to class!!!!!

its my first time testing. i have never had a nursing license before. i was so close to getting that job. she said if only i had my vn#. can u believe that crap.. i did all the stuff you did. they never aske why i was suspended. just what was on my record. that was all nothing major. but now i guess i have to wait. bs, huh?

I am in that boat and its freaking me out!! I passed 2 weeks ago but they are further investigating me. I had a driving on suspended in 02 and subbmited all the info, letters and court files as per my school. I get another letter stating they neeed to why it was suspended in the first place. I sent that letter about 1 week ago. I called and they said they have recieved it, but it will take a few weeks to get in my file. I had a second interview for a SNF. So, needles to say i Am so nervous. But The enforcement guy I was assigned to isnt on my case anymore.

It workrd for me and all the girls in my graduating class. I was so worried and I wasnt gonna do because I didnt wanna jinx myself. But, i did it and gi=ot the pop up Twice. 1 week later I got the letter confirming that I passed.

Well folks, i did pass that second Hesi and have actually passed the NCLEX-PN. Yeah! Im done till RN school. The best advise I can offer is #1 know your stuff and #2 remember maslows ABC's. Its all about prioritizing, what would you do first. Its possible ladies and gents. Anything is possible...

If u have a dollar tree or 99 cents store, stock up. I would get pens ball point easy and cheap and I always ended up putting them in my pony tail. I got a clippboard from there and a small note book. One more thing, Barnes and Noble or Boarders have a quick and pocket sized handy dandy notr book, the pn pocket guide, Its the bible!!!! good luck have fun, explore and do what ever is asked of you, hook up with a partner the same way. You guys will become the GO To's of the group!!!

apperently this does work, a few of my class mates have done this and it wouldnt let them pay. they all got word that they passed. they all also stopped at 85. i dont take mine till the end of october. i dont think i will try this. my horoscope says i have to learn patients to be a nurse hahahaha:loveya:

im sorry but i have to disagree with this. a patient with sickle cell anemia, needs to have pain managment first. hydradtion may diluted the cells, but #1 is pain. second, a pt with a long bone fracture needs to have the airway assesed due to the release of a possible fat embolisim going streight to the lungs. i love this thread. i am taking notes. i am on post 129.
