  1. If Ativan -the injectable form is stored @ room tempeture, will this changed the consistency of the ativan? It is thick-will storing it @ room tempeture make it thin. thank you in advance.
  2. I knew that you could do it. Congrats to you.
  3. good luck to you. The waiting is the worst.
  4. my first time around, and to me it didn't compare to the Kaplan online course that I took @ my second attempt @ the NCLEX. The Kaplan helped my pass on my second try. Thanks and good luck to you.
  5. I was devasted. I cried for a month-until I took it the second time around. the feeling will pass-trust me. Get up brush yourself off, and take it again. When I failed, I had to really look inside myself to find that place in me that made me want to be a nurse. I was considering giving up on the profession. Good luck to you-I am sure that you will pass this time around.
  6. If you go on Kaplans site, they have a section were u can purchase from the test question bank. You don't have to be registered for the course. This is something new that they started a couple of months ago. I do know that it is expensive.
  7. ya passed just like I knew you would, good luck with the new chapter of your life that you are about to began.
  8. I am sure that you did just fine. I can't wait to send congrats your way.
  9. to ya, now the fun begans.
  10. In my last semester @ the nursing school I attended, the school gave us the speech of how the preceptors had too attend the class. They also stated how choosing a preceptor was a delicate process. Well when I went to meet my preceptor, she didn't even know that she was getting a student. This was the case with half of my class. This was a required class to graduate. It was a horrible experiece. I do have to confess that I learned a lot. I just recently quit a job, and the preceptor there was verbally abusive. Everything she taught me sticks in my mind-regarding lab, assesments and procedures. I don't know if this was a good or bad thing.
  11. can some one post a website address, that will explain how to write effective nurses notes? Every job that I have ever worked @ was charting by exxception. It is not like this @ my current place of employment.
  12. on the kaplan trainer cd on test six and seven. I got 75 questions when I took the nclex for the second time. This was the only resource that I used the second time. The first time I took itthe nclex; I literally had 4 sources and I did about 4000 questions. So the Kaplan course really helped me. Good luck to you.
  13. I just took this course from feb-March of this year. I followed the sybullus to the letter. I read the information from the book first, then I watched the videos. It was worth evey cent I spent on this course. I know that it helped me pass the nclex the second time around. Good luck to you.
  14. Kaplan online is excellent, and ya only have to wait 45 days to re-test in PA. I know, because my first time around, I failed the boards with 265 questions. I took the test 45 days later and got 75 questions. Kaplan online worked for me. Trust me, this feeling you have will pass. Good luck to you
  15. I am so happy for you. You will make a terrific RN. Way to go and congrats. :balloons: :balloons:
  16. I am doing the happy dance for ya. Welcome to the world of nursing-the fun has just begun.
  17. Ob nurse I work on a telemetry floor. It is not the patients that are bad. It is the Co-workers. The workload is unbearable. I am trying to get in enough experience, so that I can go into homehealth. I had a horrible prececptor, and the humilation that I suffered, isn't worth me staying at this hospital. Then what makes me so mad is the fact that they always cry about how short staffed they are. If they would treat new nurses as if they are human, then perhaps new nurses would want to work in the hospitals. I just can't imagine staying on the floor that I am on.
  18. I am feeling pretty much the same, and at the same time, I hate every minute that I am at work. I am really starting to believe that bedside nursing is not for me.
  19. helped me pass the nclex on my second try. The videos are long and boring, but I learned a lot. The test taking tips are fantastic. I think that it was well worth the money. Good luck to you. I am sure that you will do well. If I can help you let me know. whinny
  20. I took this course. I wasn't that impressed, it didn't help me pass the NCLEX. I think that the Kaplan online course is fantasic. It is very comprehensive, this was the course that helped me pass the NCLEX on my second attempt. The Kaplan course was very expensive, but it was worth every penny.
  21. wnt2be, I know that it is a bit expensive, but if I were you, I would go to the pearsonvue website, and pay the fee. At least it would ease your mind. I think that you can call on the phone, or put your credit card info into the computer, and it will give you your unoffical results. The waiting is misery.
