:bowingpur i am sooo happy this term is nearly over!! my last class is on the 17 and last final the 21,which after i'm done i'm running off campus shouting freedom!!! lol this term has been so short and stressful i'm shocked i still have my hair. so first thing for me is a night out with the girls!!! next is a spa day follow by a day of shopping.for the summer i signed up for kick boxing and step aerobic classes.also i plan on going to every amusement park in a 50 mile radius from my house lol...no summer term for me but i do have to study for the nln-pre nurse exam in dec...enjoy your freedom(long or short) hooray we survived spring'10

Good luck Nolamommy I had the option to take it in the summer but I choose not too! In ur search for study guides let us know also let us know the textbook your going to be using. Maybe a few of us will be using the same book..... Again good luck

Yay:D I start August 30 and I'm also taking college writing, Molecular Foundations of Cell Function lab,Statistic and gym:confused: How about you? I agree @SnappyCindy...I also have looked online for additional help with my study..my textbook alone close to $300 at the campus bookstore but I REFUSE to pay that price. I'm also looking into study guides for the NLN-Pax Rn exam. Is anyone applying for the Spring 2011

hey everyone; i'm starting this post for all the students who are applying later this year for the spring '11. it may seem a little to early to post this but there is a lot of studying to do. in my school applications are due in dec. (they haven't posted a date yet). after reading many threads about the nln-pax ,i plan to start studying for it in the summer(no classes). as for the fall i will be taking: a & p 1 molecular foundations of cell function eng 151 statistic ped 190 how about the rest of you? what are your study plans? what classes will you take in the fall? hope to hear from you:)

wow i'm sort of speechless! half of me would want to just run with the a but the other half insist i do the right thing. i honestly would have to report it to my professor. this is an important class and it is the foundation of nursing. if "i" don't know it then i need to know in order to fix it. we all go thur the pressure of exams and all the info we know gets foggy! for me i want to get thur my classes with the feeling i know my stuff. so i will take the c and ask for extra credit to help my grade. whatever you decide is your choice that you have to live with. just remember people will look up to you and accept you to know your stuff...good luck

hey so i'm just checking in to see how everyone is holding up! i'm on spring break now and so far i'm holding a b-. i did decide to study with index cards (study group didn't work out) i see this really works for me. i hope all is doing well!

hey i'm so sorry to that kygreen13 but i have faith in you that you will pull though! just as anoetos said try the homemade flash cards. if you prefer learning face to face go to tutoring,you can even get a study buddy. my method is a study buddy and i also use the website from my book. the website provides break downs for even chapter and test..along with vocabulary words. i also read ahead for the next lesson so i know what the professor will speck of in class. my professor using power point to teach the lesson. so if i come across something in the reading i didnt understand i where to pay close attention to or ask to explain. everyone is different and you just have to find what works for you. as of right now i'm not a flash card studier. i prefer to study with my buddy,read, and test myself. i received my quiz yesterday and did great! we're starting on chemistry now and so far so good.keep your head up kygreen13 and do a little of everything till you find what works :)

My first day was on the Monday and I have to say I'm in for a challenge lol the proffessor put everything out on the table and said if you don't want to work your in the wrong class! I have the class two days a week and every Monday we have a quiz and at the end of the term I have a ten page research paper due...ten pages of writing. For my lab I also have a quiz every class and that is one day a week for me. So next Monday is the first quiz and this Thursday first lab quiz... I'll keep you posted! Keep your head up Kygreen13 it's just the beginning you have time to get the material! Keep on mind there are lots of people HERE willing to help you;-) p.s. I'm going over living things basically the different kingdoms and natural selection

I would think so! I believe if you only have lab once a week, it is three hours long..My lab is on thurs 7:25-9:25

Not yet for me...first day is Feb. 1....How is it so far? Are you getting good vibes from the professor?

my first day back isnt until the 28,and biology is two days aweek(mon,wed). my lab is on a thurs.if nothing changes the text of choice is biology 10 edition by mader, the cost of this book is nearly $200! keep in mind i still have 3 other classes

hello; i,to, will be applying in the spring 10. i will be finish with all my pre-req by the end of the year(i am going for my bsn, so in the mix ,i also will be clearly a few bsn degree classes as well). good luck all;)

Actually they only require that you have one year experience and still currently working in the NICU for this program. but thanks for the heads up

hey; as for me i'm going all the way! i'm currently enrolled in a bsn at csi. once i'm done, i will attend columbia university school of nursing(nyc) to take their nnp msn program. good luck all
